Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are also well enough to ensure the quality of undergraduate study and also it is taken in fair manner. no cheating are allowed in exam and questions are of syllabus and invigilator are also provided by the University. they maintain the decorum of the examination hall.

I have not availed any placement. I dont know about the placement but also I heard no placement is done ne in the University.

College Events

There are so many programs and all events are organised in the University. All types cultural and all. and it is celebrated with full of joy and funding is also high. Gs maintain all the decorum of the function and also. they invited all the facility to the function.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is feasible and it can be easily paid via online mode or via challan. The fees given is full transparency and every detail is mentioned. and also the fees notification is also provided by the University thorugh sms and emai. No harrasment were done by University related to fee payment.

Yes. the procedure is simple and easy online form is submitted and marks secured in earlier exam is verified.

Campus Life

Gender ratios is almost 70:30 and there is always a function on the other day. And also I am frustrated now. u ask so many questions. and I am tired of typing your answers. this much answer I have not written in exam also. and I am single also. now I am timepass with this type. faltu work.

They are very helpful and they help us and give ideas how to pass and also share last year paper and in whatsapp chat.

Admission

I have applied online my name came in the merit list and I got admission in just no time. and also it was easy only document is to be provided and the registration form. annoncement were also made and the students have to come inside and the registration process.

Facilities are good they are qualified and also they have done phd in respective subject. lecture is also enugh to understand the concept. abd also tgey use old method boatd and chalk. they dont tolerate naughty students. and help the students if they face any issues.

Thoughts regarding my college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 5th semester.Various companies come for placement like HDFC bank and more.The package that was offered was around 2lpa in 2024.During our time placement drive was organised in 5th semester but the companies demanded immediate joining which was not possible for us to join since we were already left with one more semester to complete .

See I had the passion for civil since my 10th std. I am really happy about my course . Because there are many job opportunities in govt sector in Assam. I like the teachers of my dept but some are not that friendly . Maybe it depends upon their mood sometimes I don't know really . The civil course is practical it's enjoyable. I would have liked it more if it would had more placement opportunities on campus . Otherwise it's fine

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Admission for master's is done through an entrance exam. The form for it is available on the university website. Eligibility is decided through the entrance score. Of the total seats in each department, 50% are reserved for students from the Cotton University itself, and the rest 50% are for students from other universities. The 50% of seats reserved for university students are given based on merit (cgpa of bachelor's). And the seats for students from other universities are decided by the entrance score. Cotton university graduates get 50% of the seats. of which 2% is for OBC. 2% is for SC and another 1% is for ST.
