College is good or average. They try their best but students should also try their best and not depend solely on the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college main way of learning is flip learning where it is different than usual way of learning with chalk and board. Here we learn ourselves and teachers trues to guide us. It's not a great way but it is what it is. Industrial visits do happen in our college.

Placements are average i would say from what I've heard and saw. I think students get placed on their own credibility.

College Events

Our college do celebrates different types of event like usual Independence Day, Republic Day, annual sports, annual cultural fest, tech fests and many more. All students are asked to participate in these fests and they do their best make it look good and well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I'm studying CSE for 4 years I've to pay 4.2lac. The fees is feasible i think. The college accepts online payment mainly but you do get an option to make bank draft. No way of paying by cash. Fee-breakdown is there but i don't think it is fully transparent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does offer various scholarship program. Eligibility criteria is different for every scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is good and peaceful. Everyone enjoys campus life more than classes. Workshops, industrial visits everything happens in the college. Also sometimes there are different types of competitions happen like debate, robotics, quiz, singing, fashion.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. Hostel rooms are not that great and two students per room are alloted. Students of every year have their own different floors but fooding area is common. Fees is taken per semester which 33000 or 5.5k per month but you have to pay whole 33k beforehand for the semester.

Hostel Fee: INR 66000 per yearExternal Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Most of the seniors are great. They always help the juniors and are well behaved. Sometimes alumnus are invited to lecture or give us ted talks.

Admission

I got into this college through the counselling process of WBJEE. As i always wanted to do something related computer and programming i chose this course. After getting the merit list of WBJEE exam, i had to choose the my preferred courses and colleges i want to enter. And after the counselling i had my options of different colleges among which i choose this.

Faculties are fairly good though not everyone some are good in what they do and some pretend do be good. Yes some of them have international certificates and also various achievements. They try to motivates us also encourage us to take part in different kind of competitions and hackathons etc.

Faculty is serious and everything happens on time with proper functioning.
I liked the food of my hostel Raman abas that's unique because hostel generally provide average food.
I liked my batchmates, seniors and my hostel mates. They're just love.

Dislikes

The hostel and faculty infrastructure is very old need replacement asap.
Rural location of colleges so urban access of blinkit,zomato etc is unavailable.
Placement numbers here is too short university need to work on that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

Likes

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class for doubts and guidance, which helps a lot during exams.
The college has a disciplined academic environment with regular classes and practical sessions. Laboratories are functional and help students understand concepts through hands-on learning.
The campus environment is calm and student-friendly. Various seminars, cultural programs, and academic activities help in overall personality development.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and internship guidance are minimal, which could be improved to make students more job-ready after graduation.
Infrastructure can be improved, especially classrooms and laboratory equipment. Some facilities feel outdated and require modernization.
Placement opportunities for BSc students are limited. The college focuses more on academics, so students need to prepare for higher studies or competitive exams on their own.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

lab circumtances are lightly good.we can share our opinion their.
use of projector is very helpful for us .
faculties behaviour is good ,they are quite helpful toward us.

small area campus is that what I do not like
canteen facilities are not good enough .
small space library are not enough for all students

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

Plenty of patient variety for better clinical exposure

Dislikes

Distant from kolkata, hence missed out a few opportunities.
Work load during internship is too much, no time to sleep propelry during the heavy subjects.

Placement Experience:

You can start practicing as an independent doctor only after completing internship, and getting registered to a council. During internship you get paid >31k/m The college provides housestaffship to students according to their ranks in academics, @monthly pay of 50k/m After the degree one can go for private practice, or for government MO jobs, or prepare for NEET PG for further studies.

The college campus is very big and beautiful.
The cultural fests and annual fest is also great.
The ganga ghat is really close from the college.

Dislikes

The faculty is bullshit .some profs are ok,but some are horrible.
The college hostels accommodation is really bad
The ratio of girls to boys is very poor.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okay and companies like google, Microsoft, Capgemini ,Tata,Mahindra also comes during placement.The off campus placement record is also fantastic.The were scenarios in the past years where few students got packages like 50-70 lpa.

Faculties are awesome, as they help us in anything even not related to study .
Many chances to learn. We have hospital visits too.
There are fests and sports, so can embrace our that side too.

Dislikes

Books are pricy a bit, but we need them for knowledge.
Triple sharing room which creates a mess sometimes.
Nothing else I can find which needs improvement

Placement Experience:

After 9th sem No companies . We just appear for neet pg exam if neet pg cleared - 70000 If not cleared - 50000 neet pg percentage will be nearly 4 in 100 housestaff will be 20 in 100 I will try INICET

Dislikes

Non-Teaching faculties are very bad . they don't work good.

1st year+ Registration Fees-6780 2nd , 3rd , 4th Year Fees- 3000/year Tution fees and all others fees are included in above fees. There is no scholarship from university but there is a wb state govt provided SVMCM scholarship. The Campus is fully green

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good.
