Remarks

The College management being Government body is very transparent and helpful But the issue of less space inside college due to very less land asset is a problem faced by students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum was not upto the mark I excepted making all the colleges into a new University in state dedicated to Institutions in Technology there were many problems being the Third batch Eventhough our college and teaching staff tries very much to give us the level of education we need even though the university implied course is less research driven .But IV s are provided

Placement Experience

4

We are provided with classes on profeesional etiquates. And training is given make us into profeesionals are done under CGPT wing in college. Companies like Infosys TCS cognizant Amazon and many more has visited our college for placement and our college is in a tie up with Mahindra and Mahindra company that too provide a good opportunity for the students. And every year 50% - 70 % of the total number of final year students are placed on various companies

College Events

4.5

Technical fest named ADVENT is held on college doing various workshop done by various persons from different fields and companies which provides various skill oriented programs . The cultural fest named CULT A WAY is a prestigious one and students from all over Kerala comes to the event apart from various workshops and events shows by famous Bands are also presented

Fee Structure And Facilities

The admission is purely merit based Eventhough special seats are provided for NRI which is the most expensive among all but only about1,00,000 Indian rupee per year. Being a govt institution fees breakdown is transparent and comparitevly cheap 35,000 indian rupees per year for complete merit seat and 65,000 Indian rupees per year for management seat in which also admission is done by govt allotment

Fees and Financial Aid

No, Eventhough there are some scholarship options they are based on reservation and for economically backward people since I am not eligible I haven't applied any

Campus Life

Being less land asset there are not any ground in college but students avail public ground nearby. The college is having a great atmosphere where no discrimination on any person based on any factor doesn't exist. Actually students have societies working aginst such discrimination

Hostel Facilities

The college doesn't have any hostel facility that is a problem faced by students from distant places. Eventhough Hostels run by private persons are around the college accepted by the college management and working at a very cheap rate

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni is a strong supporter of our college from funding to all other helps for both college and students are provided by alumni. Some of them being in great positions and jobs that helps a lot in the growth of our college

Admission

I liked Mechanical Engineering and Hence I attended the KEAM entrance test after 12th. From the ranklist of KEAM I was alloted my college and course based on my option of Interest. The Entrance procedure is conducting MCQ on subjects Physics Maths and Chemistry and the mark of the entrance test and 12 th marks are combined to form a marklist

Placement are not the best. But EY , federal bank, TCS are some the prominent companies that are coming. The negative thing about placement is most of them are offering marking jobs. So if you are someone who is interested in operations this is not the collage you want to in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams.
