Entrance Preview

I have not taken any entrance exam for admission or pursuing this course. Its all the admission fee of INR 15000 I paid for 3 years each, respectively. That totals the fee to INR 45000.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good and simple. We had 6 semester's in 3 years time frame. It was English, Hindi or Tamil, Accounts, Commerce, Economics and Statistics.

Internships Opportunities

The internship I pursued was at Anand Rathi Securities Ltd. inn Chennai. Its a big broking house organisation having presence in many parts of India. I learnt many things relating to Investment Banking.

Placement Experience

I dont know was there any campus placement or not & never heard when I was studying from 2004 -2007. I did my college & then started for job outside on my legs. Didn't took help of anyone.

College Events

I hardly remember about any cultural events which I have attended. But there were few like adzap, dance, cultural meetings, road safety patrol, scouts & guides.

The faculty was really good. There were good teachers for all the subjects & it was well taught. But the main thing to notice is it was just a college & many used to bunk the classes.

the college also organizes technical events, workshops, seminar, cultural, festivals and placement training programs with helps students enhance their practical knowledge
the campus has a diverse student community with a healthy and inclusive atmosphere.
the aspects I liked the most were support faculty, disciplined campus environment.

I choose DG vaishanvcollege for its strong academic reputation, affordable fees structure and excellent placement support especially in HR and marketing . So i applied LIBA ( Loyola institute of business management and SRM ) other than DG vaishnav college . I got acceptance from DGVC and SRM and i got regected from LIBA . I chose DGVC as it has affordable fees of 4 lakhs in total , also they are giving duel specialisations, also its affilated to university of madras , placement support and location advantage. I got rejection from liba as the cut off was not clear as my percentile was below 80 as the cut of was 85 plus. The admission process was quiet simple for DGVC as the - 1. Eligibility to apply was min 60 % in Bachelor degree 2. TANCET exam was preffed we have to submit the application through online portal of DGVC.
