Remarks

Our college management is helpful to students. If we have any doubts about academics, fees and any other queries. We can contact them through officiall website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and exam structure is great in our college. Our college offers best courses with best curriculum. Every student can get best knowledge out of this curriculum as the source out come. Coming back to exam structure, their will be weekend exams to monitor every student performance. Followed by 2 mid exams and final semester exam.

Placement Experience

5

The college has been creating records year after year. With more than 75 companies visiting CVR and about 940 placements for the 2019-20 academic year, it is the highest among the peer group of colleges. The highest offer is a remarkable Rs. 30, 50, 000 with several students getting it. About 40 students got offers higher than Rs. 8 Lakhs. Almost 185 offers are higher than Rs. 5 Lakhs (a record). With this, CVR becomes the leading college in the state in terms of the offers with higher salaries.

College Events

3

Many college fests will be celebrated such as CIENCIA - A National Level Technical Fest Organized by CVR College of Engineering every year. This grand celeration of innovation gives students from all the country an opurtunity to show case their talent and ingenuity in the most extravagant way. Over the last few years its popularity has sky rocketed as it continues to explore the boundaries of creativity. The extent of diversity in the events is what entices the audience on such a large scale. Apart from that freshers day, annual day, flash mob, 5k run, traditional day and dj night will be conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very clear and transparent. Tution fees is 115000 that excludes exam fees and books fees. An additional fees of 8500 will be collected for books and others. Cvr college encourages cash payments and avoids online payment, fees. In the form of dd is also acceptable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees reimbursement provided by the government of Telangana. Eligibility is to get a rank less than 10000in eamcet exam to avail 100% scholarship.

Campus Life

The CVR College of Engineering was established in 2000. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, India. Gender ratio is almost equal. Campus is filled with greenery. Their are many labs for each and every course and also indoor and outdoor stadium for sports.

Hostel Facilities

Coming to hostel, the facilities is not upto the mark. Food is average. Rooms are managed cleanly. Free wifi is provided. Their is a gym and also indoor and out door stadiums. In door we can play table tennis, carroms, chess. In out door Volleyball ball, basketball, cricket ground.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very friendly and there is no problem of raging. In fact seniors help to juniors if they need any help. Happy and peace atmosphere is maintained between juniors and seniors in hosteland college.

Admission

I got admission in this college through Counciling based on ts eamcet performance. I chosen this college because, CVR is ranked in the 101-150 rank group of MHRD/NIRF rankings for the fourth year in a row. CVR ranked as the third best private engineering college in the state of Telangana for four years in a row. admission process is very simple. After writing the ts eamcet exam, if we qualified that exam then we have to opt colleges through Councilling. If we elgible then we will get admission.

Faculty

4

Faculty is one of the best thing our college is provided with. There are more then 150 teachers with the experience of 25+ years in teaching. Faculty knows how to bring the best out of students. From secretaries to desktop operators to programmers and system administrators, the support staff play a vital role in the smooth day to day functioning of the institution.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
