Remarks

I heard about the facilities that they are very much concerned about our studies and conduct regular tests and give assignments and have group discussions to keep an eye on our studies and that's really great. The main positive point of this university is that this is an anti ragging campus and trust me you will get amazing friendly seniors here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was completed within the time and even many revisions were taken regularly to check on student's progress. I'm an economics student but we were not taken to an industrial exposure till now. The faculties were highly interactive and really helpful but not all of them. Some of them were really very rude and they doesn't show equality to all students.

There are many companies which visited in our college campus such as Deloitte, byju's and many more. Really the faculties and the final year students are really so active and hardworking.

College Events

The campus life is really fun. Like this university has its own college fest known as Amiphoria which is held in February or March which is celebrated through three consecutive days, in which some celebrities and music bands comes and have a live concert. There is a huge crowd of students in evening or the fest and in the morning there are some more events like fashion show, debate and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you score above 80% in your higher secondary examination then you'll get respective scholarships according to your grades.

Campus Life

The sports person really has a wonderful advantage because amity organises an event called Sangathan which is basically for several kinds of sports such as cricket, football, basketball, badminton, tug of war, kabaddi and many more. But the wifi doesn't work good. The library is large and has a variety of books which you want and has a peaceful environment to study. I'm not a science student so basically I haven't went to the lab but I've heard from my roommates that the labs are really well maintained and has each and every equipments whichever required.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Likes

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform
Faculty are good they are supportive helpful

Dislikes

College campus is small infrastructure is not good
Placement and internship opportunities is very less
Number of students in each batch is more

Curricullum is quite ok crowd of students are more coding culture should be introduced need of improvement of infrastructure as well in my batch 2023 to 2027 there is total 3 exam in each semester including end sem and 2 test

Likes

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Adamas university : Path of success

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

I got accepted to all private colleges which had psychology but I chose amity because they give you the freedom and to some people it might feel that amity is a fashion show but no, our hoi is very strict about it The campus is very spacious but climbing so many stairs without lift is VERY HARD. if only they could fix that I think everything would have been fine. Amity University, Kolkata from a btech biotechnology

I didn't apply for any other colleges though I thought of Adamas and Heritage. But I got to know since the last few years only marketing placements are being provided by the other colleges which I wouldn't prefer in future being a btech biotechnology student. Amity has better opportunities and placements which I heard from my friends who were already studying. I was a dropper student and I didn't want to take one year of risk so J got into this college for partial drop so that even If I don't get , I would still have a good opportunity .
