Course Curriculum Overview
Mbbs course is if 4.5 years with one year of internship combining total 5.5 years of course. During internship we practice in MGM hospital , regional eye hospital, Ckm maternity hospital and government maternity hospital . As i already said due to such huge hospitals we are exposed to many patients and thus learning about many diseases and their treatments. here we gain wide range of practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
There is great practical knowledge due to large number of patients exposure in the hospitals. The year of internship though its very tough but it teaches us how to handle the pressure during our duties . Students usually get good placements under post graduates course in various medical colleges .
College Events
There are many events celebrayed in Kakatiya medical college. The fest of college is "Uthkarsha" which usually runs for 15 days with priceless enjoyment. We also organize sporys competition like tournaments , sports week and many leagues . Festival are celebrated like a family with involvement of more than 500 people gathering around in the ground.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As we get into this medical college via merit based on neet marks , the fee is feasible . Fee is paid in form of challan process . No , there no donations fee kind of things to secire oir medical seats as it is provided by government. Hostel and mess fee is taken separately.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many students who get scholarship . These are mainly based on the financial status of the student. And some scholarship are also provided to army personnel children from the defence ministry of India.
Campus Life
Generally gender ratio is 1:2 or 1:3 (male : females) . Campus/hostel life is the best part of life . Here strangers turn into a family that make memories of every moment we live . KMC has an active participation in extracurricular activities and sports which we can see during fests , events and competitions.
Alumni/Alumna
College life without senior interaction and their help is impossible specially in medical field . As seniors have already faced many problems they guide us during exams and many other things like managing and conducting of events which make it easier and level up our confidence for that.
Admission
I entered via merit list given by state government based on neet entrance . Based on my neet exam state rank it was the college which i got , its academis is good hence ranked in top 3 medical colleges in telangana state . There is a government hospital named MGM hostipal where we students practice medicine . It is one of the biggest college and hospital and patient ratio is more comparatively which gives us access to various cases of diseases to practice and learn.
Faculty
Kakatiya medical college has a brilliant faculty . They are highly qualified lecturers. There are many profeesors and post graduates in every subjects of the course . Many profeesors are very creative methoda of teaching which make us easier to understand the concepts.
