It is nearest to my hometown location. Nice location. Got this one only in my first round of counseling in UTU. It has good students teachers ratio. Comparitively good background in studies. than other uttrakhand govt college. I wanted a government cllg only. I succeed to make it for TFW seat. I got my desired branch civil for this college in UTU Counseling.

No fixed syllabus for last 3 time( including this yr) However subjects are same as traditional course curriculum but content kept on changing. No industrial exposure. Just few guest lecturers are called but of out of the relevent industry which I never found value adding. College is like organisation for just the improvements of faculties because mostly programs are for faculty skill improvement program.to grab the maximum college funds.but there is no slot for students skill improvement program as there is no fund for students.

Summer internship, ELDECO PVT LTD Delhi, as Trainee, free intern, just to apply to company HR for getting an internship in their company.She accepted my letter and resume and gave me intern opportunity in one of their projects.

There is no placement record neither even a single visiting company for last 5years. I'm in 3rd yr right now have spend 2yr here in college and got known in 1st yr itself about placements by my seniors. That's why I putted the most approaching no. to zero over in placement and package amount slot. I'm not connected with any alumini network as I never came across to such a platform. don't know either if there exist any platform like that. Entrepreneur cell of college organises a few programs which imparts very basic knowledge and thus gets a little participation from students. Entrepreneurship cell is failed to create any entrepreneurial environment or platfos for associating students. Likewise the Training and placement cell of the college is approached by students once or twice in a year to just get the internship letter.

Campus life is just attending a busy schedule of classes from 9am to 5pm. But has green lush all over the campus and situated midst the hills the every morning and evening is there to make u surprised. Water problem is issue you will handle every morning. SPARDHA is the annual sports function SCINTILLA is the annual cultural fest/ function There are other than these two, dept. Wise annual function namely. PARIYOJNA(CIVIL) IGNITRON( ELECTRICAL) KAVALIYA(CSE) The chemique ( chemical) CONSCENTIA ( BIO CHEM) MECHANOVANICA( MECH) OTHER than these.cllg celebrates Vishwkarma diwas and NAVARATRIS ( both) very enthusiastically. All these events have just up to college level involvement. With all full time hostellers participating and enjoying the events alot. There is no celeb coming in functions or no inter college level involvement in competition or function.

TFW SCHEME ( Tution fees wavier) total Rs50000 concession annually There are only 3 seats per branch in TFW SCHEME. Offered only in 1st year not in lateral entry.

Buildings are all well designed, it is as attractive as seen from outside and as abruptive as seen from inside. Poor sanitization or cleaning of smelly pale washrooms of dept. Broken window panes and lower floored rooms in hilly terrain result in shivering and cold in winter. No water supply in washrooms. Poor seating infrastructure in normal classes except in preparation labs. Buildings have good natural lighting but poor tube always flickering. In mansoons and winters. Totally poor government schools feeling Sports equipment are only for function not for practice. Just have your sports stuff is college's attitude. Even some sports mostly indoors are not allowed to play.like table tennis or badminton as no faculty is ready to take responsibility for students to play in the MPH HALL where TT table is. No indoors games in hostels are provided. No WiFi facilities.all routers and wiring installation of WiFi of BSNL line in hostels is of no use.and is dismantled mostly. Library size is good. And it has fully outdated and old edition books. No WiFi facilities. Labs structure depends on branch.like civil had its labs and instruments installation just in 2019.had no labs of civil in college earlier this. Applied sciences dept has outdated instruments in physics lab and few chemicals in chemistry lab. CSE and Mech dept has good lab infrastructure. But mech workshop gets all their machines rusted and has nothing than to showcase the outer machine structure as if in the museum.

All students are mandatory have to take hostels except locals. So there is no hustle to apply for hostels. All sharing rooms. Year/ batch wise hostels allotment. There are total 11 hostels in college.8 for boys 3for girls. No PG'S nearby. Poor water system despite having separate pumping system of college. Water tanker will be there every morning with limited water just 1 or 2 bucket per person.Rest water needs to be fulfilled through nearby natural water resource 1km away for clothing, bathing, drinking water. Electricity is good with in-campus power station. But when light gets cut or line gets shut very late and disappointing repairing facility is provided by college electrician.one may have to face 4,5 days or even weeks without electricity. Hostel buildings structure is very pity. Fee hostels got totally damaged as were not repaired on time. But sadly SHIVALIK HOSTEL FOR 1st yr BOYS is still open for accommodation despite its dangerous and life threatening crumbling structure. Other all hostels have window panes problems and sewage pipes problems.every morning it gets back the stuff in toilets.
