Remarks

Our college campus has free Wi-Fi facility, labs are good, and proper equipment is available for students to use. Classrooms are neat and good, and the library is one of the highlighting features as they've one of the best books. Quality of food in the canteen is good, and soft drinks are bit costly, but the rest is good. Sports opportunities are also available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers were really helpful, qualified, and all the teachers are highly educated. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is helpful for the students as it makes them industry-ready. This should be available for all the students.

Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

Around 40% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 41,000 per month and minimum salary offered was Rs. 16,000. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, Infosys and HCL. The employee was the top role offered. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. About 60% of students got an internship.

College Events

I wanted to work in big respected companies and all the new things I got to learn. Some irrelevant stuff should be removed. Events and fests organised were fun and good.

Chandigarh university , but for real

Likes

campus life is absolutely banger and it is great to have friends here
crowd is bonkers , except some local peeps , they'd be behaving weird
major events like freshers and orientation , they bring crazzy artists

Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

Placement Experience:

placements of 2.8 cr occured but it was only one , most of the placements packages go under 8 lpa and extra fees has to be paid in order to be eligible for placement drives and that too doen't ensure the placement

campus life and social interactionn : the campus is large and active with many clubs events hackathons and activities students get good opportunities to meet people from different backgrounds and participate iin extrracurricular activities.
faculty and teaching: faculty is experienced and mixed Some teachers have good subject knowledge and are supportive while teaching quality can vary between subjects.
placement and career support: the university provides opportunities and conducts recruitment for drives forn students.

Placement Experience:

IN our college students get placement form 3rd year onwards that is from 6th sem like university provides the students to sit in the placements and many good companies visit like amazon googler infosys tcs and all big recruiters and the highest package is upto 55lacks and ath average package of CSE id 8 to 9 lacks per annum and the placement rate is upto 100 percent.

Exploring life at Chandigarh University

Likes

Good and modern campus infrastructure. The university is large, modern with good classrooms, labs, hostels and tec.
Most teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and explain concepts clearly.
The university provides placement drives, training sessions, career guidance and etc.

Dislikes

Large student intake. Due to high number of students, sometimes it can be difficult to get individual attention from faculty.
During peak hours, some areas of the campus can be crowded.
The quality of hostel food is not much satisfying.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Chandigarh University are generally good, with students becoming eligible for campus placements in the later semesters, dependiing on their course. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering roles in IT, engineering, management and other fields. The packages vary by company and profile with some students receiving high packages while others get average entry-level offers. Placement opportunities depend on student skills, academic performance and interview preparation. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a good job in my field, gain practical experience and continue developing my technical and professional skills.

Likes

The most appreciated aspect was the quality of teaching in classroom. There were structured planning for studies and exam preparations.
The campus was peaceful and the college celebrated every cultural event very enthusiatically covering interest of students belonging from various traditional backgrounds across India.
There was wide spread interest both from students and faculty side for promoting extra cirricular activites and talent.

Dislikes

The way a student raises a complain can be improved.
To allot extra hours for extra acirricular activites.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great for tech and core domains. Alomost every students gets to sit in placement following the eligibilty critera. Many students get double placed and there is a placement policy which allows fare chances of placement to every student.

Cmc - a feeling in itself

Likes

Academics are very good along with proper clinical teaching lectures and simulation based teaching. Patient load is good. All the clinicals skills required at mbbs level are taught properly.
There are various extra-curricular activities which take place in college. Many cultural events are organized by college and student bodies every month which gives an holistic development experience
Sports facilities are also there which are very good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very old and needs repair
Many faculty members are leaving leading to less good professors in the college
Patient load is decreasing day by day resulting in less clinical exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed in our college is CBME based curriculum. Our college was one such college which conrributed tremendously in developing this type of curriculum. It trains you in all clinical skills and provide you with the best doctor skills. Also many soft skills training session our held which helps in developing and training ourselves as good doctor. All the skills are taught on models and patients.clinical training is very good. However , patient load is decreasing which restricts oursleves in seeing variety of patients

A honest college review

Likes

College faculty are very solid and remarkable and some teachers also support the other students in difficult situation like financially
Paramedical course faculty sometimes give random party for students to their achivement

Dislikes

Campus is some sort of small and Students ground is short.
Sports ground is short if two different teams want to play they can't play like that.teams

Placement Experience:

The college provides good opportunities to those who are good at academics and for those who are not good at academics chances for them to placement are very low. During the past year, there were very good companies shown in my college for my seniors, some were very renowned companies and the highest package was something 650000.
