Remarks

The fests attracted me the most. The power,rejuvenating experiences, the team work reminded me of not being wrong about choosing this college. To add on, the faculty there is so welcoming and open to accepting the students ' opinion. All the difficulties we had as students were solved in no time with an ease whether studies or anything else. As a result, we grew much more closer to them as a team on a different level.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty that I like the best is Mrs. Rumina Rai. Industrial exposure was surely given but not as expected and not so much. Our syllabus is pretty much updated according to me. Faculties that we have our amazing, but even the visiting faculty that we have been getting are nothing but really great at their work.

Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

No, we haven't visited any company yet. Looking forward to this venture. Job reference would be given to us after graduation most probably.

Our management is kind of stable. It holds all kinds of festivals. Different streams have different festivals based on technical, cultural and management. We all enjoy them as a team and support each other. We have celebrities coming and adding an oomph to each of the fest conducted.

Government Polytechnic Thane – My College Experience

Likes

As it is government collage, but still it have high level computer labs and high end computer for hevy coding
The collage teaching staff is very friendly and supportive
The collage arrange many competitions like quiz competition, sport tournaments and celebrate many festivels with fun.

Dislikes

The collage building is too old and not have well developed sport ground
The classrooms don't have Digi board or TV for didital learning and have old blackboard
The teachers don't take regular lactures, student have to study on it's own

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and covers important technical subjects. I choose IT because I was interested in computers and technology. It provides basic practical knowledge through lab work and projects, which is helpful for further studies. It can be improved by adding more latest technologies and practical learning. There are 2 unit tests in each semester followed by the final end sem exam. Exams are mostly moderate in difficulty.

Teaching is very good in my college, the faculty here is expert and pays well attention to the students.
It has a good competitive environment and overseas a great place to study
Good patient flow with timely clinical postings

Dislikes

Weak infrastructure,needs a lot of redevelopment in some buildings
Lack of amphitheatre and many other amenities in the campus
Hostels are not well equipped and facilities provided are poor

Curriculum is CBME one now, with all good changes like early clinical exposure, ensuring timely clinical postings of every year. It helps for the future pursuits and there are 4 exams per year with a gap of 1 to 2 months.

Likes

Faculty is good ,anti ragging campus , good environment
Ganpati and navratri is celebrated together it's amazing
Pratyush is held which has many events there's a week full of events different days are held

Dislikes

Fees is very high there's no concession as per caste it's same for everyone
Canteen food is expensive and there isn't separate canteen for ayurveda even RAIT students occupies the space
Only problem of college is it's expenses , even the building is not separate for ayurveda there's school of small kids and also hospital on 1st floor Even after paying 8 lakh college doesn't provide any lockers for students

Ayurveda is the ancient knowledge of medicine which also helps us to be a good human being if you study in detail it will also improve your sanskar and you'll definitely be a great human so it's very helpful and there are many diseases which can be completely cured by ayurveda as allopathy suppress the disease or pain but ayurveda completely cures it so I choosed this field About exams it's how 3 hours periodic exams of each subject are held every month 3 periodics each for 15 marks is held then1st term exam occurs after 6 months again 3 periodic are held then 2nd term again 3 periodic of each subject then university exam is held . University is also of 3 hours but there are 2 papers for each subject except for samhita And viva is also taken even in term exams for university external teachers are there for viva and for term faculty takes the viva

It has old curriculum therefore it doesn't help in active jobs

It is best college in front of me as there are many reasons for me .

The admission process wasn't tough for me it was smooth like i filled the form and i got the admission on the first merit list.
