Remarks
This is an autonomous college affiliated to Anna University. The syllabus they provide is up to date. Faculty members are very well in teaching and will give their best. Yearly they get placement recruiters from major companies especially TCS. The annual fees are reasonable and infrastructure in this college is ok. They have quite good academic achievements throughout the past decade. You can acquire quite a good knowledge of the subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is the best current job-seeking study in engineering. The job acquiring probability is quite high if you have the proper knowledge and skill. The faculty in REC makes sure you are good in that. Faculties maintain a good relationship with every student and try their level best. They are very knowledgeable in their fields and has very good teaching skill. Exams are kept whenever required to keep a assessment of where you are actually.
Placement Experience
Placement of around 800 students happens every year. most of the recruits are done by TCS as I was told. After getting a degree it is up to you for higher studies or getting a placement job. Mostly placement takes at the sixth semester. Package of even 12 lakhs per annum was offered.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very reasonable for their amenities. Infrastructure is somewhat good and the transportation is very good considering other colleges. They give scholarship based on your parents' annual income as I know (please contact the management for details-my differ).
Campus Life
The college does not have a kinda cool infrastructure. More basically like a school actually. When it comes to sports, the college has a turf football court, badminton court, basketball field maintained properly. The cricket nets are poor in condition. The same cricket ground is used for football. They conduct an annual fest -RECHARGE. The library is quite good. Clubs are available in plenty for developing other skills.
