The best part of this university is that the faculty members are really good. They are highly experienced, and experts in their respective field. The only bad aspect that I found is that the canteen, washroom, and the girl's common room needs to be improved a lot. The admission process is done merit wise. One can check the university website for any kind of information regarding admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Calcutta university Karakol is solely for the subject of Economics. The faculty members are really good, they teach in a good interactive manner, highly experienced, and also students friendly. All the faculty members are ph.d holders, there are some assistant and associate professors also. The teacher-student ratio is good, students usually get individual attention from the teachers. The exams are taken in semester wise. There is an internal assessment each semester. Both the marks are clubbed together in the marks sheet
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the University of Calcutta Economics department provides internship opportunities. But it's very limited. And the stipend is also not much. It's around 10,000 Rupees. The internships are provided for a short period of 1month to 3 months.
Placement Experience
The university provides marvelous placement opportunities. There are many renowned companies visiting the chamois. They hire deserving students. There are different selection processes for different companies. The package scale is also high. The highest pay scale is 8LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The semester-wise fees are very reasonable. It is around 1200-1400. This is subject to changes. There are no scholarships provided by the university. But the university authority forwards any kind of state and central scholarships, in case of the student avail those.
Campus Life
The campus is more like home. There are only around 300 students(only Economics students) on the campus. The campus is spacious, the rooms are big enough to accommodate the students. The field is also quite big. It gives a home-like feeling.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well structured by eminent scientists of IITs, TIFR. Academic is pretty much good. No peer pressure. It's a free life. Prof. Sankaran Subramanian, Prof. Sankararaman. Prof. I Ibnusaud.
Placement Experience
Placements are not many. It's very sad to say that there is no placement for Students through campus recruitment. Students have to work hard and score good marks to pursue their PhD. They don't offer any good placement.

The best thing I found there is a Cisco Thingqbator (Maker space) where we can build IoT devices and more.Cisco is doing this project with partnershiping with Nasscom and Defy.Li2 conduct lot of workshops under Thingqbator about IoT and machine learning and lot of things.Even they mantor students to build their idea which is submitted under cohort programs hosted by them and provide all fecilities and equipments.This is the only one thing that I kike in this Institute.It is well maintained by Cisco not by our administration.That may be the reason it is well maintained.

CUSAT was ranked in in the 251-300 category for Asia, despite an endowment of under US$ 0. 5 million and in the 801-1000 category by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings of 2018. The National Institutional Ranking Framework, devised by Ministry of Human Resource Development to rate the Universities of India, ranked the university at number 30 in 2016 and the ranking dropped in 2017 to 86, before recovering to 69 in 2018, and to 65 in 2019.

Day scholers are suffering in transportation facilities.The university have only Two bus. Hostel accommodation will ver poor.many people are staying in out side of university hostel. The university are located in NH side

Positive it is always positive there nothing live a bueatiful campus and the academica are pretty good too the way of teaching is superb the programs the conduct is far way awesome but there also they can give more entertainment for students
