The Jaypee University of Information Technology is one of the best private engineering colleges in Himachal Pradesh. One of the best things about this college is their state of the art infrastructure. The campus of JUIT is one of the best college campuses in India. The Admission process is totally done on merit bases, if you have written JEE mains then you just have to apply on the university website for admission, if u clear the cutoff set by the college you will be called for counselling and registration.

Faculty-student ratio in JUIT is very good, the students are divided into batches each batch having a maximum of 30 students. The course is based on the structure of LTP i.e. Lecture, Tutorial and Practical. The faculty here are well qualified almost everyone has done their PhD. We have 3 exams of each subject per semester namely T1 (test 1), T2 (test 2) and T3 (test 3).

You can do your internship on campus and off-campus both. I have done my internship in JUIT itself. The things that we get to learn in these internships give us benefit in the long run. You can do an internship in a company or can do training also.

The campus placements are very nice here. There are a lot of companies that visit our campus every year. Big IT giants like Infosys, cognizant, amazon and much others give offers to students. Sometimes students get more than 1 offers and they can decide which company they wanna choose. The highest package that has been offered is by Amazon with CTC of 30 lakhs.

The fee structure is one of the best parts here. JUIT's fee is very less as compared to other colleges. Also, JUIT gives us ample opportunities to get a placement. The number of companies that visit our campus is very good, also in times of Covid-19, the placement record of JUIT is very good.

The life on campus is the best part of the journey. We have one of the best hostels and mess. There are a cafeteria and dhabas too. We have one of the best libraries and get any book there. There are various fests that we have on our campus like Parakram (the annual sports fest), Murious (Technical fest), le fiestas (the annual cultural fest) and various cultural nights. There are various clubs and committees that one can join.

There are 2 kinds of rooms one can opt for a double bedroom and a single bedroom. Rooms are very spacious and well maintained. The food quality of mess is also good. You can opt for a hostel while doing registration. Also, there is a separate hostel for first-year students.
