Remarks

There are a lot of good aspects to let on about JUIT, firstmost being the reputation, it is one of the best private colleges in India. Then it has one of the most beautiful campuses in India, situated in Himalayan hills, the campus is a paradise to live in for four years. The admission procedure, from counseling to getting an admit based on your JEE Mains rank, takes place in JIIT, Noida.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Computer science and IT is presently the rising and an on-demand branch in India, it has the most scope at present and in the near future since everything around us is striving to be more digital, hence I chose CSE. Faculty is certainly great here, teaching methods are also as fine as it comes in engineering colleges, lab facilities are also pretty great. Sometimes they might be using outdated technologies, you can reach out to the authorities and talk about your curriculum needs and changes, they listen. There might be a lack of exposure since the university is far away from chaos, but one can utilize that fact for their own good too. It is not that hard to pass the examinations unless you completely forget studying for them

Placement Experience

4

7th semester onwards, the companies start arriving for placements. I got 3 on-campus placement offers. The amount of opportunities for placements is fine, companies ranging from mass recruiters like Infosys, Cognizant to dream companies like Amazon visit campus. Tbh, CSE/IT students do get the most opportunities, maybe simply because the branch has enormous scope in India as of now. Depends on the individual to make the most out of opportunities, just need to keep the programming concepts and basics of core subjects clear. Most of the students have at least one offer. Basically, placements for CSE/IT students are brilliant, others just might have to suffer a little.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure makes you pay around 290000 per year including everything from tuition fees to hostel expenses. It must be lesser than other private colleges with the almost same reputation. Not sure if they provide any scholarships.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest called Le Fiestus is pretty great, it's a 3-day fest mostly and you might just love the amazing bands and DJs they invite to perform. There are plenty of clubs and committees to be a part of, I was a part of the Photography club for two years, the IEEE student branch, and the Rotaract club for a year. Since there are loads of clubs, they keep organizing plenty of events throughout the year and students can keep themselves "non-academically" busy. The library was one of my favorite places on the campus, I studied for all of my exams there and not in my room, it's serene and the sunsets from the huge glass windows make it even better. I didn't need to buy any books ever, since all you need are available in the library if it's not then you can ask them to arrange it.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is good, rooms are equipped with duct blowers and balconies providing amazing views to vibe with. Mess food is also fine, a good indulgence of fruits can be seen in the mess menu, overall the menu is not bad. Apart from the mess, there are other food options inside the campus like the open cafeteria, Nescafe, etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.
