Remarks

Delhi Technological University is an excellent college. The admission process is you have to clear JEE MAINS to get admission here and fill JAC DELHI website. The campus is very big and the biggest in Delhi. The fest of DTU is great. It is ranked very high and one of the best technological universities in the country. Before taking admission to DTU, i read about it on Quora. There are so many societies you can join and the sports ground are very big also

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose DTU because of its high ranking and good teaching faculty. The placement percentage is also very high here. The average package is quite good. The student's ratio is good but there are more boys than girls. There are more girls in software branches and you will find rarely any in mechanical or civil departments. All the teachers are highly educated from IITs and other big colleges. The exams are not very difficult. There is a mid-semester exam and an end semester exam and the teacher gives you some marks for internal according to your attendance and class performance.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

DTU gives its students the opportunity to get an intern with and without a stipend, Many companies like Decathlon ,Yes Bank , Twitter offer internships to students. They give you certificates at the end so you can show it in your CV

Placement Experience

4.5

Students are eligible to sit in placements in the 6th semester onwards More than 200 companies come every year. Some of the companies are Samsung, Mahindra, and Mahindra, Twitter, TATA motors, etc. The highest package bagged by any student of DTU is 1.25 crores and the average package for the last year was 5 lac per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

DTU is a government University but still, the fees are high. The fees for the 1st year are 1.51 lakhs, 1.66 lakhs for the 2nd year,1.9 lakhs for the 3rd year, and 2.05 lakhs for the 4th year. The placement percentage is very high. If you are good at studies you will definitely get a job, The University gives several scholarships to students. Like the students who score the maximum there, half fees are waived off. The students coming from poor families get fee concession and the reserved category students also get fee concession. If a student is a single parent child then also he/she gets a scholarship

Campus Life

5

There are several fests in the college throughout the year, The main fest Engifest is one of the biggest fests of Delhi with more than 1lakh footfall . Then there is Ecell orientation which is a technical fest. Many celebrities, singers, comedians are invited to the fests. Singers like Papon, Vishal and Shekhar, Divine,Sidhu moosewala had performed in Engifest. Comedians like Abhishek Upmanyu, Rahul Dua, Kenny Sebastian had performed in Ecell orientation There are so many sports fests like Triquetra, Aahvaan were many colleges come to compete. All sports are there in DTU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.
