University full of opportunities and experiences

The college has wonderful infrastructure and as there are students from other countries as well so it becomes interesting as you meet new people and people from the different geographical background. University even has a good number of scholarships which helps in bringing down the number of fees we have to pay.

I chose Bcom Hons because I'm much more interested in accounting than any other subject. Student faculty ratio is quite good, University has a quiet great number of faculties available. Most of the employees are PhD holders and many of the faculties are even pursuing their PhD which according to me is a wonderful thing as they have a great amount of knowledge in their fields, for teaching method depends upon the subject and according to the subject, the best way is used so that the students can grab the things easily and even they grab the best knowledge upon that topic. We have exams every 2 months and it's not that easy to pass and not even tough of the student has paid attention in class and had done revision he/she can clear the exam easily.

One of the internships that are offered every year which is off campus is with the company Times of India. The work of interns there is to visit people convenience them to buy TOI and if the customer is already buying other newspaper there task becomes to convert them to buy TOI instead of the newspaper they are purchasing. This job really helps the students to explore and get experience in the field of sales. The stipend is based upon the sales made.

If the course is of 3 years then student become eligible for placement after completion of the 2nd year. A number of companies visit every year which includes companies like Amazon, times of India, and many more. The highest package offered is 22 lakh p.a and the average is 5 lakh p.a. nearly 90% of the students get placed. My plans where pretty clear so I'm pursuing my MCom from Lovely professional University itself after this I'm waiting to get placed at a good and reputed organization with a prity good package.

University has its own entrance exam by name LPUNEST which helps the students to grab a scholarship according to there knowledge. Not only this university has a number of different scholarship like for students from Bhutan , nepal , Sri Lanka they have a special scholarship for them there is a scholarship for sc/st too. Jobs that are available on campus with stipend are mostly in the admission block, jobs are like call centre job where you are supposed to deal the query of the parents of the students, one more job is there in which u have to approach to the students and tell them about foreign exchange program and convenience them for it. And al lot more jobs are available like this.

University has 3 fests every year which are "one India", "one world", "youth vibe". One India is conducted in the last week of October, one world is conducted in last week of February and youthful vibe in the first week of April. Every block gas its own Library but we even have one Central library at our campus which is full of different books, novels, and study books. The number of sports activities are available at the campus including indoor and outdoor both. University has a different cell for students which particularly managed by students itself that cell comprises of a number of clubs like "wings of hope", "pehal", and many more, this cell even has a number of extracurricular activities after the class hours like dance, singing, theatre and many more such things.

The room has a table and chair for each student and an almirah too. Food is not that much good but it's ok. The registration process for the opting hostel is quite easy you are just supposed to open your university account from there you can opt for the hostel facility. Price of hostel changes every yr by nearly 5000.
