Remarks

SCIT is a premier IT business school. I was interested in IT so chose this college. I attended the admission process on 15th Feb which had a GD followed by WAT and a PI. SCIT is a niche business school in the IT domain. If you want to build a career in IT then go for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose the ITBM course to get an overall flair about the IT domain along with management. The faculty-student ratio will be around 50:300 i.e 1:6. The faculties have a lot of experience in the teaching field. Subjects are taught by industry experts. Exams were conducted on a timely basis with the end sems happening in January for the 1st sem. The exams were not tough to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4

EY, KPMG, Yes Bank, Goldman Sachs, Bekaert, Virtusa, Asian Paints. Roles offered- Information Security Trainee, Intern, Risk Audit Trainee. Risk Audit role, Systems Intern. Outcomes are to help the security team in the company.

Placement Experience

4

3rd-semester students are eligible for placements. 40 odd companies visit the campus. 100% of students are placed. Highest package is 14 and the lowest is 8. The profiles offered are like- sap consultant, infosys manager.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is the same in every sem. In the view of the pandemic, some adjustments have been made. Cost to study is a lot here but the package is also quite good. I'm still in the first year so no job as yet.

Campus Life

4

We are in the online mode so have not experienced campus life as yet. Have heard there are various fests. Classrooms are quite big as are the hostel rooms. You can refer the website scit.edu. The library portal is also there.

Hostel Facilities

4

The room has a chair, table, bed, hot water, cupboard etc. The meal is quite good. The menu is the same per week. The hostel prices are quite steep. The hostel room is clean and regular cleaning is done. A laundry service is also there.

Interview Experience

4

Topics of GD were based on current trends in IT and business domains. I don't remember exactly the topics. Interview questions were a mix of why MBA, technical skills and personal. The process was quite systematic in nature. I joined a coaching centre to prepare for the whole process. Coaching centres guide you.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

College management is not that good, which I felt is need to be improved. making everything student centric makes it difficult for students as well as college to be organised.

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
