Course Curriculum Overview

4

Good for CS/IT. No/few placements for Civil/Mech. Good for extracurricular activities. You will see a lot of companies visiting for CS/IT branch and the average package is also good. Quality of Education (7/10). In terms of the quality of education and the faculty, we had great faculty. Most of them being a PhD holder / pursuing their PhD. We got great support from them and they helped us a lot in all our projects and stuff. Most of the teachers used to help us even after the college hours and weekends if needed. Placements (7.5/10). We have wonderful placement opportunists. We had an excellent placement officer for the coordination of placement activities. A lot of companies come and recruit students across all sectors. Pre-placement training is conducted which are helpful.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many factors that companies take into account when considering you to be an intern, but the biggest one by far will be your ability to apply the skills you learn in the classroom to solve real-world problems. The best way to demonstrate your ability to do that is by completing projects. Not only will you develop your practical skills and make yourself more valuable to companies, but you are also learning important skills like collaboration, time management, and communication. By doing projects, you will knock out many birds with one stone. You now have practical skills and an impressive list of long term projects to put on your resume. If you win any competitions or get a grant to fund your work, you can put that on your resume as well. The best thing to do is just search for companies that are in industries related to your field and interest.

Placement Experience

3

We have wonderful placement opportunists. We had an excellent placement officer for the coordination of placement activities. A lot of companies come and recruit students across all sectors. Pre-placement training is conducted which are helpful. Companies visited-Ace Micromatic, ESDS Software Solution Pvt. Ltd., Epam, ValueLabs, sender, Hexaware Technologies, SABA, Syntel, TCS, Amazon etc. My plans after degree- if I get the good package at the time of placement then I will go with the job. If I don't get a good package then I will do MS outside India.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, you can get admission in DY Patil College of Engineering in computer engineering with 92.3 percentile in JEE Mains. You can get admission in all the campuses of this college namely Akurdi, Pimpri, etc. The fees structure of the college is around 1.2 lakhs per annum. Dr D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune has fees structure approximate 1 LPA and if you cannot get by counselling then you need to pay a lot of money to get into it apart from the fees. Talking about the donation part, as you are looking for CSE branch the donation is very high around 4–5 lakh. CSE/IT is the most popular field nowadays and also has good placements. But instead of getting admission through donations, I would recommend performing good in your entrance and then getting into this college.

Campus Life

3

Campus/Infrastructure: It is one of the best infrastructures you can get in any college of Pune University. It has well-equipped facilities for students whether it be for studying or hangout. The campus is open from morning 5 am to midnight. It is the most beautiful campus in Pune. Classrooms and labs are fully equipped and functional. Events: There are many events in the college for students. The main cultural event is for a week and a great time it is just like some carnival. Clubs: There are many clubs in college be technical or non-technical, who have a great reputation and achieved many accomplishments in various competitions and college always give promotion to such clubs, they are also good for personality development.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
