PATEL DHRUV S.'s Review On L.D. College Of Engineering - [LDCE], Ahmedabad

After getting 85℅ in my 12 the science , I have passed JEE exam with 96 marks, so my overall rank is not very good as I can apply for IIT. Because for iit first of all I have to eligible for JEE advance , then I have to pass that jee advance with good marks then & then only I can go for IIT's , so I have tried for regular engineering colleges. In that I have funded that in engineering colleges special in l.d college there is huge placement & it's government colleges so it's fees are low that's why I have selected this college for my future.

In my branch the course structure is perfect . But for the research point of view I think it should be improve. Just because in some subject if you are interested & you want to study more in that topic then definitely you will take help of your faculty, but the problem in college is some faculty are not interested to help us & some have not research level knowledge that's why we can't do research in our interest.

In there is huge opportunity for the placement. If one passe engineering in any field from l.d with average marks then he can easily get good job by good preparation Some of my college recruitment statistics :- Welspun - 2.4 lpa, TCS - 3.2 lpa, Gnfc - 9.36 lpa, Reliance - 5.5 lpa.

In LD every year tech fest are organise & in that fest every sounds are trying to participate In 2016 it's organised by the name as lakhshya in this tech fest I also take part in chemo car, camo hunt. Till now I have not participated in any management festival so I have no experience about that but there are very few fest related to manage.so I think college should organised more management fest.

In LD just because it's a government college fees are feasible to all there is no issue of that.t though the fees are fees are less but whatever fees college collect from student they do not provide that facilities. Just like they take Jim fees but there is no Jim in working condition, the to many other types of fees but in mater of facilities college is zero.

No I don't know about any of this facility offered by my college. I think college should provide scholar student scholarship for there study & other expense there should be also facilities of study loan with low interest for the student who are financial weak.

Gender ratio in l.d college of engineering is low, special if u check the students list of chemical, mechanical, rubber , plastic etc branch u will find only 3-4 girls in 60 student class. LD organise many workshop on various innovative topic. In LD extracurricular activities & sports events are very very good college & it improves our status.

I want to give only 4 stars out of 10 to hostel just because the hostel buildings are very old so it's need to re construct. The second thing is the toilet facilities in hostel is very bed. Then I want to give 4 stars out of 10 to mess . Because in mess the breakfast is very good & at reasonable price, but the the quality of lunch & dinner are not good & the there is cleanness for the cleaning.

Alumni network is very useful for the students. It's organisation many events, programme etc senior student are very useful they always helps us in study seniors act as brother.

Just because I.d college is in circle of gtu, so I am not blaming to l.d but I want to say that the new exam style is not good because in this type you have less time & more to write. Where the older style was good in our college just because the lab facilities are not good the practical are not don so properly so they do not arrange the practical exam so I think they shod take the practical exam.

After passing my 12 the science I have filled online admission form then I filed my choice of institute which I am interested then after first round i got the addition in other college not in l.d so I go for the second round, in this round again I got the addition in same college as I got in first round but not in l.d then at last I tried third round & luckily I got the addition in l.d college of engineering in Chemical field in which I am interested & then I have confirmed my admission by reporting at acpc & from the 4 the august 2014 I have started my college.

Special in my chemical branch all are well educated . Some are doing there PhD also . But main problem is some faculty are not regular. But the teaching Is very good not excellent. All the faculty working from many years so they have lot of experience but not high knowledge . So I think the faculty should be updated in fix interval by young well educated facilities.
