Our college was the best and still is the best REC chennai rock happy and proud to be a part of this college i refer all my cousins and friends about this college.

Entrance Preview

I have chosen this college as it has the best staff for teaching the staff is extremely good in teaching they are quite supportive the discipline is well maintained in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical subjects are very tough to clear, buts since we had a highly skilled teachers clearing the subjects was possible. All the HOD's were very strict and caring. We had separate teachers for every different subject this is very well disciplined and good cultured college.

Internships Opportunities

When i was studying it was not providing. But i came to know from one of my friends that they are providing internship now. I am very happy to know about this. I feel proud that i was part of this college.

Placement Experience

They have good placement facility when i was studying BPO job placements were very famous me and most of my friends got placements in this field. But later on they have lot of other companies who come to recruit the freshers from this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Thangam madam is very kind and adorable for some students who cannot pay the fee completely they use to reduce the fee the fee structure is not so high it is effort able common middle class people can also study in this college as it ha a very nominal fee.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very good they staff is very strict in terms of the invigilation and paper corrections i am very happy to know about this. I feel proud that i was part of this college the timings are maintained very strictly in this college.

All the staff are highly skilled and highly qualified and highly professional teachers. All the staff has a very good skill set especially the HOD's are highly talented and have good management skills i am thankful to all my lecturers, and head of the departments.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
