Internship review

This university has a very scenic beauty, all the faculty members are really friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful building and is away from the noise of the main city which helps us to stay focused and motivated. The admission process requires all true documents and is carried out in a very professional manner and is conducted around the 17th of July every year. I chose this university over others as it has the best and knowledgeable teachers, who are always ready to support us, guide us, and help us through any kinds of difficulties. There are a lot of branches with good study material available. The official website of this university was used while selecting this university.

I chose Biotechnology. I chose this course because I was interested in biology and microbiology and JUIT is a great place for this course. The teachers are very knowledgeable and well informed about their subjects. The course curriculum is very interesting and covers a lot of things. The faculty: student ratio is around 1:40. Almost all the faculties are PhD holders with a great amount of experience and skill. Their teaching methods are also great. The exams are held three times every semester to give students opportunities to pass and score well.

Industrial internship programs are provided in the month of June and July every year. Companies, where students can do their internships, are Numitech solutions, BSNL, Cetpa infotech, NIELIT, etc. These internships can be with or without stipends.

Most f the students are placed before the end of the seventh semester but can only join after the completion of the degree. More than 80% of the students are placed in companies like Wipro, Cognizant, DXC, Amazon, Hitachi, Accenture, Infosys, Google, etc. Many students normally get around 2-3 offers. The highest salary package was provided by Amazon of around 28 lpa.

The fees are different for different years and degrees (B. Tech, M. Tech, M. Sc and PhD). 30% concession is given in B. Tech in tution fees to the students of serving and ex-armed and PMF Personnel. 35% concession is also given in B. Tech in tution fees to students of Veer Naris and persons with disabilities. (PWD). There are also scholarships available like The William Webster Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship, for financially weaker students.

There are a lot of fests held by JUIT, like Masterchef, Murious, La Serene, Dandiya night, etc. There is a sports fest as well called parakram. A lot of students take part in these events. There are many clubs and committees as well, for eg. the Cultural club, the Event, and Procurement committee, Media and publicity committee, Theatre and Music club, etc, and they are all run by students.

Facilities like a single room, a double room, and a triple room are provided based on your choice. The quality of meals and menu is good. The registration process for a hostel is quite simple and can be done during the admission process.

The main admission criteria are based on your 12th class percentage or on the JEE Main ranking. There was no interview or test conducted. But the admission process was quite professional. They picked you up based on the above two mentioned criteria.
