Pooja Ghorpade's Review On Sinhgad Institute Of Technology - [SIT] Lonavala, Pune

Sppu is one of the best university in India. Any degree in this university is highly valuable. I choose sinhgad institute because my score was less for other colleges and on the other hand sinhgad institute provide us all the sources that any other well known college can do so this is best for the students like us.

I always wanted to learn something new and valuable, but everyone says engineers are jobless and all still I wanted to learn the thing that why the one called engineer. As in my college I have the great faculty, they are very cooperative and understanding.though the ratio of students are quite suprising as we have only 25% of girls and rest are boys. The faculty is very much qualified and they have great knowledge of what they teach. though exams are very much tough and u really have to work hard for the passing marks.

Sinhgad is itself is a brand.we have huge Amt of placement. The best thing we have TPO(training placement officer) the one who prepare us for placements from the basis.

Basically we have two main events first one is Techtonic and second one is culture fest. Generally Techtonic is conducted in the last weeks of December or January. techtonic is a technical event in which every college and it's every dept oragnize games, activities, quiz, technical competition, workshops and many more events for students. In the last day of techtonic the award distribution happens. The second one is culture program.see we have 5 college in our 1 campus so every college has its own culture program conducted in the month of February. Days were distributed to all colleges and timing too. In this we have programs like dancing, group dance, fashion show, mimics, plays, debets, singing and many more. This is a one day event and this culture fest conducted in amphi theatre. All the students from different college of our campus are allowed there.

We have the greatest infrastructure like we have a huge sports club, separate ground for cricket, and separate ground for football and we have a huge complex for Indore games. Our college students plays on university level, district level as well as state level. We have WiFi access in every area of college. Also we have a nice library for study and a reading hall which is open for anybody.our labs are fully organized and well maintained.

We have WiFi access. Our rooms are big and large. The hostel fees is much cheaper then renting outside but it is not that much good. The food which is included in hostel fees is damm tasty and healthy. They provide us lots of dishes and so many item in daily meal.
