Remarks

Good:- Reputed College, Good Faculties and Interactive Environment among faculties and students. Bad:- Laboratory and workshops are not that great most of the equipments are not functional. Admission process:- First you have to visit the city office in Bhubaneswar and submit admission money and complete registration and then they will take you to college to complete the rest formalities. They will fully support and guide you through out in every step. Reason for choosing this College:- It was the best college for Mechanical the branch i choosed according to my OJEE score. The reputation of Gandhi group of Colleges was also the reason. BPUT registration used while selecting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I always wanted to work in factories and industries so my goal was fixed to choose Mech Engg. For Mech Engg we had 173 students divided in three sections and every 30 students had a proctor and one HOD and teachers for every subject if every sections. Faculty qualifications were mostly MTech's some where PHD. Every teached had there own method some favoured smart class some where more orthodox and belived in book studies and used white board to illustrate topics and subjects. Term Exams were conducted in fixed tym but sometimes changes upto 2-3 months if any problem happens. Exams are unpredictable sometimes easy and sometimes so hard that questions were out of syllabus and sometimes medium hard. It was difficult to pass as the checking is not that great sometimes in a good paper we will get low grades and fail and sometimes in bad papers we will all pass. It's very unpredictable.

Placement Experience

0.5

7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. No good companies are called in on campus. I had never heard of their names of the hiring companies that came like pet plast, cooper auto parts, etc. Higest package was Rs240000 ctc per annum. Students get placed in unknown companies who offer 8000 to 12000 per month salaries in cities like pune, noida, bangalore and every one returns home. They take 1st month salaries from students placed during clearance for providing certificates. The whole placement system is a scam for earning money from students. After completing degree if you have any referal for any company or have your own settings then you will get college. Otherwise practice for govt. Jobs. Or pursue Gate exam for job in PSU's. Don't expect anything from college.

College Events

3

Annual fest Sparkle and tech fest Garima Xtreme organised once every year around Dec to Feb. Library has satisfactory amount of books. Classroom was simple with boys and girls sitting separately like in schools. Annual sports is organised with different sports like races, cricket, football and volleyball. Indoor games like carom and chess. Puzzles, quizzes singing essay and story writting etc activities are also organised. No such social group, club or websites for students run by students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is satisfactory not that much according to a private college standards. Some scholarships of indian oil, medhabruti and stipends for sc st students who get upto 80k per year. If you pay money in time then don't bother to complete projects, attend lab, attendence or anything whose marks college sends, you will get best grades. Don't have high hopes for campus no good or reputed company hires from there, the only good campus you get are through off campus in other colleges competiting with thousands of students. If you have financial problem in any stage of your year and unable to clear fees in time then even if you have got great compliments from chief guest for your project, completed every assignment, performed phenomenally in Laboratories and are a bright student then they will create problems and not allow you to appear semester exams and will send low grades in your project and lab marks. Money is everything for them. Education is a business.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel room was for three people. Room contained three beds and desks two fans two tube lights 1 attached latrine bathroom. No AC rooms were provided. We had to go to canteen for meal. Meal was satisfactory but the machine rotis were hard to swallow after some time. Seasonal vegetables were given in meals. Registration for hostel was done in accounts section in college and rooms were always available any time. If you want to live in rented room, you can live in Bhubaneswar (bbsr) city. Bus services were available from bbsr every morning. Bus fees was ten thousand per annum. Bbsr is a nyc place with every facilities you want, capital city of our state. It is a smart city afterall.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
