I choose GNI over others because it has world class infrastructure and has NAAC A+ accreditation and NBA accreditation. AICTE awarded for its well-known repetition over other top colleges near Hyderabad and also in Telangana. The main good aspect of this Institutions is the Infrastructure and Quality education provided by qualified doctorates and lecturers.Gurunanak Institutions (GNI) is the group of both Autonomous (GNITC) and JNTU affiliated colleges(GNIT) which means there are vast no. of seats available for admissions based on their interests

I chose Mechanical engineering because I'm very interested in automobile and their designs. I want to know about the characteristics and functioning of several automobiles. Also, GNITC has many mechanical equipment and machines like Lathe machines, Furnaces, Turbines etc. The ratio of Faculty to the students can be 1:10 in my department (including lab in-charge and technicians). Most of the faculty are doctorate holders and has deep knowledge about the subject. Some are pursuing their PhDs. Though they have knowledge on the subject some lecturers may not be able to deliver the standard teaching. It is satisfactory but not top-notch. It depends on the Teacher-student relationship. Every semester has 2 mid exams and average of them are added as internal marks for semesters.Based on percentage of attendance, 5 marks are allotted in internal marks. The difficulty in being passed depends on the student capability. On an average, it's not very hard to get passed. But one should know the subject and time management.

Placements are top-notch in GNITC. Most of the companies that offers placements are Huge MNCs and Well-known companies. It includes companies like TCS (TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES), COGNIZANT, WIPRO, IBM, TECH MAHINDRA, CTRL S, BYJU'S, INFOSYS, AMAZON, MINDTREE ETC. From the 3rd Year 2nd semester, students are eligible for attending campus drives and placements. Some of them may get placed by the end of 3rd year itself. It depends on the skills and proficiency of Students. The highest salary package in GNITC is 12-15 LPA. Almost 60% of students can get placements and also college provides an additional pre- placement programe for the students who want to get placed by teaching them right activities.

GNITC also has its own fests which may not be upto the mark for the students who want to experience a real-time entertaining fests and events. These fests looks bored because only limited students are allowed to enjoy those events. Students who paid for the event or fest are only allowed and the others has to follow their daily curriculum. It's not fair in some cases. But we have all type of fests like Winter fest, cultural fest, literary fest, Fresher's party, Flash mobs etc. Central library is the destination for any kind of books. It has various books and students can take them for rent too. Basketball courts, indoor sports hall that includes Cartons, Table Tennis, Snooker, Badminton and partially improper cricket grounds etc. We have well-equipped Gym too.Some clubs like Team Wrath Racing(TWR) and Fire breath racing(FBR) are useful for Mechanical students and Social group called 'Street Cause' is the platform where students can participate in social activities by helping the needy.

The fee structure for my course is 115500 per annum. It is the tuition fee. We can apply for scholarships by providing necessary documents and proofs for fee-reembessment. For some reservation students, the total fee is free.

We have both Boys and Girls hostels seperately. AC and NRI Blocks are also available with different fee structure. Hostel facilities are good. Each room can accommodate 3 students. Hot water is available.The hostel fee includes mess fee. So, there is no need to pay separately if you want to eat in the mess. The quality of food is good and they provide breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner everyday. Sometimes special Non-vegetarian foods are added in the menu. We have to take permission of Chief warden of hostel if we plan for going outside the campus which is time limited.

No. I'm selected or I got admitted through engineering entrance exam (TS EAMCET).All the Intermediate(both 1st year and 2nd year) topics are to be prepared for qualifying EAMCET Exam. This type of seats can be referred as Convenor.
