Mukesh patel college is the best private engg college in mumbai. college gives the updated courses and specialization like. artificial intelligence.data science.cyber security.therr are very less colleges who gives specialization with degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

I Have taken cyber security and i feel it is the super specialization.and it has very good scope in future.bcoz india needs the development in cyber security. Academics is quite good of the college. Faculties are the best.they are very helpful and frank.i have joined the college late so they helped mee by taking the remedial lectures.

There are more than 300 companies come for recruiting the students in our college.The tech giants like Microsoft, google, capegemini, hp, JP morgan, and so on.there is a very helpful and nice placement committee in our college.

I think so campus life of college is very best. because nmims has the best campus.there are lot of the different cultural committees in the college and they held very nice fests which are quite big and very well hosted.there are very famous and big committees like.IEC, ACM,ETC

I think so nmims university mumbai and mukesh patel college has the best infrastructure in mumbai.the college looks like the 5-star hotel. classrooms are quite large and good.They are very neat and tidy.Our all classrooms and labs are equiped with air conditioners.

i have taken admission through npat examination held by the college and they also considered my boards and jee marks. boards -70.92%.jee- 65 percentile

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

Admission process is merit based , based on the NMIMSCET for engineering students , The branch allotment and upgradation is again merit based during orientation. There are very less colleges in mumbai having civil engineering. This college is one of the best considering the infrastructure international linkage etc.I applied for Vjti and spit except this college.I choose this college over them because of the industry exposure and the connections internationally.I dis make into the other colleges in cet cap round but i wanted this college in specific because i found it more benificial with the amount of things it had to offer in this course over the others.After you give the entrance exam of the college you get your result mailed to you which has your merit number with that you get a counselling letter which has a date and time in it on which you have to take a demand draft of the course you want to the college then you go verify your documents and the you go and tell your preference to the councilor if you have the seat available in the course tou want they give you admission or they give you an option to be added to other branch for upgradation...Read More
