I choose this college because in my field of graduation, the economics department, had such good faculty those of whose were easily available at the college website and also on the internet. Though this college had a reputation that it's college union force students into the union itself but after getting into the college I realised that the union is way passed that. Our college union very strong in our area and then don't forcefully push students to get in the union and there are very helpful to us! The campus is very big though one can't figure that out from the outside but it is actually.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our department faculty is very good and I would highly recommend it. Each and every faculty in our department have passed out from prestigious universities and they have a unique teaching techniques, sometimes some of them might seem a little rude but they love every one of us as their own children.
Placement Experience
Not known, I really don't know about the placement process but while doing research about the college before taking admission, I came to know that almost 50-60% students get placement and there is a high chance that the maximum salary offered can be Rs20,000 per month in BA, B.Sc and other courses. For management students, the salary offered is up to Rs25,000 per month, and for B.Com Honours students, the minimum salary offered is Rs10,000 per month for the junior post.
College Events
Campus life is good. We can hangout with our friends in the court yard, library I can say they are almost well stocked but their stocks can always be improved. Though I am not aware of any clubs but infrastructure is quite good. Our auditorium is just state of the art kind of thing, so clean and mesmerizing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
At the admission stage, i.e, in 1st semester, I was charged around Rs3500 and in 2nd semester around Rs4500, I think which is quite less since it's a government college.
