Remarks

Good infrastructure of the college provided with all the necessary facilities for the students. The hospital attached to the college is also good both in infrastructure and location wise.Teaching staff of the college is really good. Also the pleasant weather of the city and it's location adds plus points to the college.Overall, it is the best medical college in Uttarakhand.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It has a well planned curriculum.Faculties make sure that our syllabus always remain up to the mark inorder to avoid the last moment pressure on the students. One of our Anatomy HOD-Mr.Ak Singh sir is quite popular among us as he makes the subject so easy for us through his excellent teaching skills.Faculties are hardworking and dedicated to their work but they are strict too which is fine by me.

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 2000000 per year

Placement Experience

2.5

There are no placements. After the completition of our four and a half year course we have to do a one year internship in which we are paid a stipend of Rs.10000 per month is mandatory because after this only our medical degree is valid.

College Events

Apart from performing well in academics, college helps us to develop an overall good personality by enabling us to participate in various events like sports activities, literary and cultural activities like singing, dancing etc.Crescendo is one of the intracollege event organised by the college students where we actively participate in all these extracurricular activities.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus is big enough with a large ground where different sports can be played like cricket, football, basketball, tennis etc.One of the bonus point is that campus has a gym too which I think is very important for all of us especially we(the students) who are the building blocks of the nation;Health comes first. It has a library with a size of 2000-3000; with good Wi-Fi facilities.Equipments in labs are clean and well maintained.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel buildings are neither too old nor new but the rooms are big enough with doors and windows in good condition.Rooms are provided with proper ventilation. In first and second year we share the room afterwards we get a single room.It has common washrooms(8 on each floor) which are cleaned on a regular basis.Starting from the supply of clean drinking water to laundry, hostels have all the necessary facilities in it.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

A Well-Rounded B.Tech Journey with Good Infrastructure, Supportive Faculty, and Growing Career Opportunities

Likes

Faculty members are generally qualified and approachable, and students can seek help with academics and projects.
students should supplement the university curriculum with industry certifications, coding practice, internships, GitHub projects and real-world development work.
There are cultural events, technical activities, clubs, sports and other extracurricular activities. Hostel students can participate fairly actively in campus events.

Dislikes

The main improvement I'd look for would be more advanced, industry-standard laboratory equipment and greater practical exposure.
I couldn't find a reliable current official university figure for the overall girls-to-boys ratio.
The ratio can also differ substantially between CSE, other engineering branches and the university as a whole.

Placement Experience:

Haridwar University provides regular campus-placement opportunities across IT, core engineering and other sectors. The university reports strong overall placement activity, but programme-wise salary and placement data are limited publicly, so students should ask for CSE-specific statistics before admission.

Holistic Review of MBA at IIM Kashipur

Likes

It's a student run campus which means that important decisions regarding students are taken by the student bodies.
The campus is beautiful and lush. The architecture of buildings are well though of made to keep buildings cool during summers and hot during winters.
The campus is very happening. Several cultural events occur.

Dislikes

As the town Kashipur is not very developed, there is not much of metro-city life or such amenities
The boys to girls ratio for core program is 4:1 and the opposite for the analytics program which makes the class interactions disproportionate, It should be uniform.
You can't order food from online platforms here as the city is remote so one has to resort to the options present on campus which turns out to be pretty limited in number and quality.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the second year starts, companies start coming for placements. These include ICICI bank, Wellsfargo, Genpact, Amazon, TresVista, Havells, TVS, Tech Mahindra etc. The highest package goes around to be 40-50 Lacs while average is around 14-15 Lacs. Almost all get placed while the rest opt-out from the process either for off-campus offers or pursuing higher education.

Honest unbiased Review

I choose government medical College Haldwani because of its affordable fee structure. Excellent clinical exposure and reputation as one of in Uttarakhand. It offers a balance of quality education and hands on patient care due to its association with a high patient hospital. Comparison with other college colleges applied to. Serial number one,Doon medical College -this college is also good, but this college is new, so I prefer GMC Haldwani over this Serial number two, Government medical College, Almora- This College is also new and located on Hill area, so I didn't prefer this as this is very far from my house. Admission process at Gmc Haldwani:- Eligibility is 10+2 with PCB and neat qualification and minimum age 17 years, Exam accepted. NEET UG is mandatory. CUT-OFF VERY ANNUALLY BASED ON CATEGORY AND ALSO THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF EXAM PROCESS ADMISSION THROUGH STATE COUNSELLING, UTTARAKHAND COUNSELLING ONLINE REGISTRATION, CHOICE, FILLING, AND SHEET ALLOTMENT BASED ON NEED AND CATEGORY AS ALL ABOUT DATA GYM. HALDWANI STOOD OUT OF THE BEST OPTION FOR ME DUE TO IT. BLEND OF AFFORDABILITY, QUALITY, EDUCATION, AND EXCELLENT CLINICAL EXPOSURE, AND ALSO THE DISTANCE IS LESS FROM MY HOME....Read More
