The reason I chose LPU over other colleges was its astonishing infrastructure and complete diversity. You'll find students from many countries here. The admission process was very easy, as I've completed my 12th with 90%. There was no need of giving any kind of entrance exam. I got direct admission with a 50% scholarship for the whole duration of the course. Also, this college focuses on extracurricular activities and practical knowledge and not only concentrates on bookish knowledge. The facilities available in the college are just awesome. It's not less than a little world here.

The course curriculum is at its best here. The faculty members also are experienced, polite and friendly. LPU take care of what is needed at which point of time during the course and certainly fulfil everything. The faculty here have to pass several interviews and exams to secure a job here. There are two-term exams held here in a year. The first is midterm, which is held in the middle of the semester while the other is end term exams which are held at end of a semester. Different assignments are provided before these exams.

LPU offers ample opportunities for internships and placement for students. The curriculum taught incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc).

LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept that looks after placement opportunities. apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. The LPU students have been successful to get the highest package of 28 Lacs per annum from Amazon. The placement scenario in LPU has really strengthened year after year because of its well-reputed faculty and a good placement record over the years. Over the years, major national as well as international brands like Cognizant, IBM, Flipkart, LG India, SAP have visited the LPU campus for placing their students.

The fee structure is balanced with the scholarship criteria here. The Entrance Exam which is also known as the LPUNEST exam is not very hard and student can easily avail of scholarship by giving this examination at the time of admission. And if you're a person with 90% + in 12th, you'll be directly getting a 50% scholarship without any entrance exam for your whole course duration. Coming to the on-campus jobs, while studying, you can earn here as LPU is offering part-time jobs to all its students who are willing to do so.

The best thing about LPU is its social life and diversity. There are more than 200 student organisations here that are made by the students and made for the students. All work under the aegis of the Division of Student Welfare. EDMs, Tech fests, Cultural Events and many more things are conducted here regularly which also invites many great personalities as their chief guest.
