Remarks

Well the college management specially the admin section of the college was really bad in 2012 but during my course of 4 years the student council had put in lot of effort to improve the condition of it and it is really improved but there is still a long way to go. Guys if you are looking a balance of Perfect college with good placement studies and amazing social life this is the place fellas.

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE and through that i got into it because at that time this was the criteria i scored AIR 2114 in 2012. I took this college because it was closest to my home plus it had a big name and a reputed college so it was kind of one perfect package.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum was good i would not say it was the best part of the college but yes it was better than most of the colleges proper subjects were taught at proper times. lot of optional subjects were given to choose between from so we could diversify in the interests of our field. The syllabus was appropriate which was sufficient to complete in the allocated time and the practicals were also pretty decent though the conditions of the lab was not so great.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies that come to out college for internship that are like Samsung, Deloite, Qualcomm, Schlumberger, Linkedin, Sandisk, and many more the general stipend that is paid is 30000 a month. and many of these internships are converted into PPO's.

Placement Experience

5

As the college is located in the NCR so there are nearly 250-300 companies that visit each year to our campus and the placement is 100% of the college even people have 2 job offers so they can choose which one they want to select. and the companies visit is spread out through out the year so it helpful to prepare and fulfill our shortcomings.

College Events

5

The biggest cultural fest ENGIFEST we have had starts like Mohit chauhan, Vishal and Shekhar, raftar and many more there are 100+ events conducted during this fest the technical fest INNOVA it is the biggest techno management fest of DTU where a participation of 15000+ is observed and it is filled with quizzes highly technical activities and each of them are new.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When i joined the fee Structure was feasible it was like i got my complete degree in 3,60,000 that is it. so it was really worth it and just amazing college this was the complete fee that i had to pay excluding the hostel and mess that was also reasonable that is it was 1,50,000 for the complete four years.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are a great amount of scholarships that are available for SC/St OBC students, then every branch two toppers get cash awards and a chance to sit in for the OPJEMS SCHOLARSHIP and there are many other Scholarships available.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is amazing specially the night life there are canteens that are open nearly the whole night and the hostels are really lively the students are playing around in the late its full of fun, During the day the college has a lot of students walking here and there sitting in cafeterias playing roaming organising something. so everyday there is one thing or the other happening. so you never feel bored with your college life at all. there are huge amount of extracurricular activities they start at 4pm and are going till 9 pm MUN's Sports Arena, Dance, Singing, Coding, Robotics its like every branch has something of its own going.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facilities were good like actually great the mess was trust me way better than what i expect to be like hostel food there was good taste variety and heigen hostels were constructed in such a way that everyone could interact there was nearly every sports available to play.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is really good there are lot of great personalities that are alumni of this great institution. and they are spread all over the globe so we have no difficulty what so ever in reaching out to our alumni in any part of the world the seniors are the best in the college itslike you need anything you just go to your senior and they will help you out with everything no matter what personal, studies, college related GF's, BF's anything they will help you.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was pretty nice we used to have MID SEMS and END SEMS as the major exams then there were TUTORIALS that were there round the year. MID-SEM usually happened 2 months into the semester and they were for 20 marks then the end sems were towards the end of the semester and were of 100 marks the rest 10 marks were given by the internals.

Faculty

4

The Qualifications of the teachers were amazing most of them had there Phd's and many of then had an experience of teaching above 20 years in this college so they knew inside out of the subject you can throw any question at them and they were able to handle all the questions perfectly. they explained the subject in such simple words like if you attend the class properly you wont even need to study for the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
