Remarks

It is a good college in terms of placement. The placement training skills are provided from the first year on. If you don't get any arrears, you can get 95% chances of getting placed. The highest package depends on your skills and it is 20 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, etc. Most of the placement companies are belonging to its sector. The infrastructure is really very well designed. Wi-fi is available. Mobile phones strictly not allowed. sports facilities are not bad. The food is the best thing we get in our college and the college is been awarded for that. The professors are well trained, and most of them are doctorate holders. you have frequent tests like unit test, after every unit. so make sure you perform well in that. the college dress code is very important even for the parent. all the students must wear only formals. if you are a day scholar, you have to opt for college transportation.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Computer Science and Business Systems are a brand new and revolutionary branch in engineering. I chose this course why because I'm very much interested in computers added to that we'll be learning about the business too. Not everyone is known about this course but I strongly recommend our students to opt for it. The faculty members are well trained and most of them are doctorate holders. The faculty are specially trained by the TCS staff for this course through the faculty development programme(FDP). The curriculum is designed by faculty members closely working with eminent professionals from TCS and academia and is approved by AICTE. The course focuses more on new technologies like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. Due to the rigorous curriculum, the faculty might have no time to explain but I strongly suggest you follow the courses of the same from the video lecture of MIT, Stanford univ, etc. Your focus in 1st year should be to get comfortable to the college environment.

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes, there are internship opportunities for students off-campus most probably I guess but students who choose B.Tech (Information Technology ) are eligible for an internship sponsored by the company virtusa, which is the top recruiting company for its students. So the company provides a paid internship for the students while studying itself.

Placement Experience

5

Our college has the highest salary package of 29 lakh per annum and also provides 360-degree placement credits for the students where they are eligible after a training period of 6000 hours - 4 years including engineering orientation, company-specific training, aptitude programming, communication, industry-ready, behavioural and life skills and ice-breaking sessions - to provide intern cum job offers (30%) with high salary package. So the students are eligible for attending placements from the third year on consistently above 85% annual placement conversion 2020 batch. Major recruiters are TCS, MindTree, cognizant, amazon, virtusa, Wipro, Zoho and Infosys etc. Recognizing high performers (rhp) forum for elite students. my plans after getting my degree are to work in any reputed multinational company which I get in my placements during my third year and if possible I will continue my higher studies abroad where I will do my masters in science (ms) degree and work few years.

Fees and Financial Aid

The actual cost for my course is 1,75,000 exclusive of bus and mess fee. This is the same cost for your four years of study at the college. Due to this pandemic, they have not demanded the remaining money which is to be paid for the mess and bus. There is no hike in fees I guess, this is the standard fees structure followed by the college. The payment can be paid through cash or by demand draft (DD). There are scholarships for students belonging to the bc/mbc community and they must show their community certificate, students admitted under government quota (i.e) must have joined through single window counselling and for those whose family income is less than rs.2 lakhs .eligible students may collect the forms from the office or download from www.rmd.ac.in. contact the office for any other clarification about the scholarship (044-67919191 ). These are the scholarships provided by the college faculty and higher officials. So eligible students can apply and start study.

Campus Life

5

A very good infrastructure, classrooms, library and many more. As of now due to this pandemic, no fests are been organized by the college. I hope after this pandemic ends we may have fun at the college fests conducted every year. Libraries hold the collection of all foreign, local author books for academics and general purpose. The library is very well constructed and the books are sorted out neatly. Our classrooms are very well equipped and provide a comfort zone for students with perfect lighting facility, air circulation, green boards etc. There are seminar halls with fully functioning air conditioners. Projectors are also available to provide digital infrastructure to the students. Labs with all required equipment and machines are present.in case any damage occurs to the lab property, then he/she has to be ready to pay the penalty. There are many sports grounds like tennis, badminton, basketball and so on. There are also many clubs which reveal the talent of the students.

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming.
