Remarks

Initially took a list of colleges that suit my cut-off marks. I chose this college in counseling because I thought I would get exposure when I study here. My classes in this college started on August 21, 2017. And my expectation was right. I had a good exposure here. Here, they give more importance to our project and creativity when compared to marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was intrested in the field of current. So, I thought I should choose this field. The faculty-student ratio is 2:10. I think it is a very good ratio. The quality of the faculty is very good here because they clear our doubts whenever we go and ask. And they help us in doing innovative projects. There is both solar panel and windmill in our college. With this, we can say that faculties help us in doing innovative projects. Most of the faculties in this college have experience of above 10 years. The teaching here will be like just exchanging thoughts between students and teachers. There will always be a very good interaction between students and teachers.

Placement Experience

4

The students are eligible for campus placements from 7 th semester. The training for placements is given to the student from the 3rd semester. Many companies are visiting the college for placements. Some of them include Accenture, Wipro, CTS, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, Avasoft. The average package given by a company is 4 lakhs per annum. Every year an average of 85 % of students get placed in companies. I got placed in the campus placement. I have received an offer letter from the company also. So I have decided to join the company after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For me, the fee per year was 80000. I had my first graduate scholarship. So it further reduced to 52500. There is no fee hike here. The fee here is affordable. And the students are informed about the scholarship provided by the government correctly. The placement here is also good. They give training for us from placement preparation centers. This training helped me to get placed in a company. As of now, I have received only an offer letter

Campus Life

4

We have a technical event for our department named 'Emerge'. This is usually conducted in February. But this year, it was conducted online in April. And we would be having college day and Culturals during March. All the books that are required for a student to study during their course of time are available there. And there are many journals. These journals helped us to choose our project area. The classrooms are spaced correctly. There are many benches for the student to accommodate themselves. The labs here also are well maintained. The labs have the software that is required for an electrical student. The components are also well maintained. Here, they give equal importance to both education and sports. There is a basketball ground here. There are many clubs in college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Usually, three people are allotted to a room. There are some attached bathroom rooms also. Each student is provided a chair, table, and cupboard. There would be a solar heater here. So the students don't need to worry about hot water here. The quality of the meal here is very good. At each mealtime, we would be having 2 to 3 dishes. We would be having tea, milk, and coffee during the morning and evening. The registration for a hostel is done in the college office itself. The fees here are also affordable only.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming.
