Remarks

A safe and friendly environment. The good infrastructure of the overall campus. Easy admission process. Very good faculty members. Very good exposure for sports and events. I used the college website www.valliammai.co.in while selecting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this course due to the interest I got in Civil. The faculty members and the students have a very good friendly relationship. All the faculties have completed their masters and some of them completed their doctorate as well. The term exams are conducted once in 45 days and it was not much difficult to pass.

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for attending campus placements. Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Sutherland etc. Nearly 60% of students got placed. The highest package the companies offered is 35,000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I availed management quota fees is 90000. And many scholarships are available for government quota students, first graduate students, etc. Many of the students are placed in on-campus interviews with various companies.

Campus Life

Department symposiums are conducted in September. There is various availability of books and journals copies in the library. Very good and neat classrooms. Various sports are available and achieved many rewards.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I applied to Chennai Institute of technology where the fee structure was enormously high. Ehere as the SRM valliammai has good infrastructure and also the fee was reasonable. No, i didn't get rejection from Chennai Institute of technology. But i got impressed when i went for visiting SRM valliammai as one of my college hunt. SRM valliammai offers both government quota and also admission directly to the college. I went through government quota. So to apply SRM on should be completed 12th grade with reasonable percentage.
