Lovely Professional University is India's largest private university with over 800 acres and it is likely to be a student-friendly university especially for the faculty. I didn't see this kind of faculty in any other college. Teaching is very important in any college but especially in lpu, the faculty will explain each point very clearly without any hesitation. The campus is eco-friendly. While coming to the School of Agriculture we are having about 200 acres of land for fieldwork we are having even a playhouse. Coming to laboratory equipment and works we have a student-friendly relationship with faculty where we can understand everything by practical means. I took my admission online mode and due to my score in 12 class, I got a seat on a merit basis. Everyone knows that Punjab is the best state in Agriculture. So I preferred this university.

Compared to other Agricultural Universities LPU is having more land for Agriculture purpose and it is having ICAR recognition, and it is the first private university to get ICAR recognition in India. Per section, there will be 60 students and we having a separate teacher for each subject. All the faculty members are done their PhD and some are PG level in their respective fields. It was not that easy nor too difficult to pass the exam. If we study the textbook and listen to the class properly we can easily score good marks.

As I'm in 3rd I couldn't have a grip on the information regarding the internship. But Agriculture has so many companies with internship like Syngenta seeds company, Nuzivedu seeds company etc. There is a public internship like working in KVK's and NGO's.

In the 6th semester our placement classes will be started and in the 4th-year placement will be proceeded. The highest package offered by lpu is 32 lakhs per annum. Coming to Agriculture recently a girl placed in Canada a multinational company with one crore per annum package. I have a plan to go for a government job after my degree.

As compared to other university fees is a bit high in this university. Yes, we have a scholarship facility if we get good marks in 12 class and the LPU nest exam we can have a good scholarship. I'm getting a 30,000 rupees scholarship for each semester.

In LPU, the biggest fest is One World and One India. It is celebrated in March every year. In one world and one India, we represent different countries and states lifestyle. We are having a big central library which is having five floors of books section. Every year there will be a sports selection for the National level. Even I have gone through one of the sports named Tug of War at the National level. For cultural activities, we are having a DSA block.

In LPU, there are 6 blocks of hostel for girls GH1, 2, 3, 4, 5& 6. We are having a 4 seater, 3 seaters, 2 seater and one seater rooms with the availability of Air cooler or Air conditioner. The cost varies for Air cooler and Air conditioner rooms. We can choose our rooms according to our wish. They will provide a bed, study table, geaser and air conditioner/air cooler which you choose.

I attended the LPU nest exam it was of multiple-choice questions. The paper is somewhat easy and we can score good marks. My exam syllabus contains the 12th class syllabus only so no need to prepare another subject.
