Remarks

SCMHRD is one of the best MBA colleges in HR (after XLRI and TISS) in India. The academic Rigor is very high. Admission Procedure: Written Test - SNAP, Written Ability Test (Language Proficiency Test), Group Discussion, Group Excercise, Personal Interview. SCMHRD is the 3rd best HR-MBA college in India. That's why opted for this college over others. Used InsideIIM, Shiksha.com, YouTube, etc while selecting this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

SCMHRD is the 3rd best HR college in India. The faculty: student ratio is 1:25. Faculties used to take Classes and conduct sessions over MS Teams. Teaching Method: Hybrid (Due to pandemic). Term exams are conducted in online mode, can be passed with decent preparation.

Course Fees: INR 2100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

ITC, Godrej, DXC, Maersk Line, Swiggy, Welspun, ICICI Bank, Diageo, ABInbev, AON, Deloitte, Intel, Wipro, SKF, Signify, DXC Technologies, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc. Projects: On Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management System, Employee Engagement, etc.

Placement Experience

From the end stage of the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. HUL, Flipkart, ITC, Godrej, VOIS, VI, Cognizant, Wipro, Deloitte, E&Y, Mahindra & Mahindra, Anand Group, Airbnb, L&T, etc. companies visited. The number of offers made is more than 250. Highest Package: 32 LPA. Average Package: 16.1 LPA. 100% of students get placed every year. I want to work as an HR Business Partner in a reputed organization after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees Hike is around 10-20% per year. Various scholarships are available including a fee waiver scheme through fees that can be reduced, if some certain pre-set conditions will be fulfilled. I got placed in Swiggy in Summers.

Campus Life

Annual Fest - NEEV conducted in the month of November. This year due to the pandemic got postponed and took place in the month of February in virtual mode. Various online Library portals are available. Classroom sessions were conducted through MS Teams. Online Sports and Gaming events including computer games, etc. took place. Student-driven Committees: Management Committee, Admission & Public Relations Committee, NEEV, Cultural Committee, Sports Committee, ECON, SCOPE, Analytics Club, etc.

Interview Process Questions: Why MBA, Which specialization do you want to choose and why, Tell me about yourself and your work experience. Explain any challenging situation you faced in your life and how did you handle that. GD Topic: Handling Transgender Harassment Issue within Organisation as an HR Manager Current Newspaper Headlines Explanation, Went through the current affairs and prepared the HR Questions well before the GD-PI process to ace the rounds.

Review of RICS MBA CPM

Likes

we had smart classrooms and beautiful public library. the college infrastructure was modern with touch of historical blend. I was staying off campus, hence could not experience the hostel life. However we did enjoy all the sports facilities.
The faculties for RICS where mostly Doctorate holders while some were experienced veterans
the Boy to girl ratios was 60% to 40%. we are supposed to where business formals to every class and our classes often has projects and application based problems, which was very much linked to the real world.

Placement Experience:

we have 100% placements, when the year i passed i.e., 2022. basis what i have gathered, 2026 passout batch also have more than 95% placements, while the remaining students are still under the process of interviews

Placement is most important. For Marketing students Company coming for placement like ITC, Amul, Godrej, Gsk , iide , and some mid size Companies And for Hr Also tele performance and so on .. For Marketing and Hr good companies But for Finance struggle to Get 60% sales base company And remaining 40% good. Like INSYNC, Hdfc life , Most of Banks comes Kotak , icici , Axis, hdfc

Likes

Infrastructures of the college are good.
Facilities provided by the college are good.
The placements and the companies visiting are good.

Dislikes

I disliked the social life of the college.
I disliked the fact that the college did not organize anything such as festivals or functions during our academic year.
I disliked the food in the college campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

Remarks:

We learned a lot from the curriculum and the college itself. My journey was a mixed bag of feelings with many sweet and sour moments. The classroom sessions were fun and so were the field visits and management activities like webinars or mock marketing competitions.

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.

I gave CET and I got 90%,after that. GD and PI was conducted and den I got selected. Because it's a industry recognised course along with knowledge widening course focuses on soft skills as well.

Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Any person is eligible who is completed his/her graduation from some well known university and having grad percenetage above 50(for general) and above 45 (for st/sc). The application form is available at the time of applying for the Snap exam else seperately from the college or university portal it could be filled. In Symbiosis International University, they have the reseravtion provision for Kashmiri Migrants, ST, SC, OBC, PWD. They are benefitted in the order of seat reservation. For Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats, SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 3% of the total seats are reserved. SCMHRD Business Analytics Course Review by Student 2021-'23 batch

1. Gave SNAP Exam and applied for the course 2. My SNAP score was 94.14 percentile, while the course cutoff was about 90 percentile, so got a call for the next rounds. 3. Amazing life at SCMHRD

I was eligible for the admission process of SIBM Pune and SCMHRD. The criteria for selection to these institutions are 97.3 for SCMHRD and 98 for SIBM, Pune for the general category.
