Remarks

I chose IBS Gurgaon because of the placement rate. This college has a placement rate of nearly 92% and I think every student is looking for a good placement at the end so, that is why I chose IBS Gurgaon. Also, this college offers a great curriculum that prepares the students to become future managers. The admission procedure of IBS Gurgaon is really simple. Students can get selected on the basis of multiple competitive exams like CAT, GMAT, NMAT, SNAP and IBS Gurgaon also has their own entrance exam known as IBSAT followed by GD and PI. For the GD and PI Students have to go to IBS Hyderabad campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

IBS Gurgaon offers PGPM Program which is a full-time 2 years program and this program offers all the managerial subjects and stream like HR, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Operations, Supply chain, etc. The students get to year all the subjects in the 1st year and in the 2nd year the students can select the subjects as per the domain of their interests. The faculty of IBS Gurgaon is very helpful and supportive and hold great experience in academics. The majority of the teachers at IBS Gurgaon are Doctorates. Apart from academics they also hold a great industry experience. Students are provided with all the study material and notes from the faculty side. The level of exams conducted at IBS Gurgaon is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

5

Yes, IBS takes complete responsibility to provide internship opportunities to all the students. The rate of Internship placement is 100%. The students can also go for offline opportunities and they need to submit the offer letter or any mail from the company to get registered in the record. As far the college internships are concerned they are both paid and unpaid depending upon the company. Some of the famous internship companies are Amul, Bajaj, Profit Idea, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement rate of this college is quite good. It is nearly 91-92%. Nealy 150 companies visit the campus every year. The students become eligible to sit for placements after 3rd semester. Some of the famous companies are HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, HCL Technologies, Bajaj Alliance., etc. The average package is nearly rs. 6L and the good thing about this college is companies offer all the profiles like HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I personally feel that the fee structure of IBS Gurgaon is quite affordable if I compare the fee structure from other private institutions. Firstly the student has to pay an 80,000 admission fee followed by total fee of Rs. 7,21,000 which is divided in five equal installments and a 10,000 refundable security fee is also included. The college also helps students in guiding about the education loans from various banks. The students are offered campus jobs as well like job in the library, etc. The good thing about IBS Gurgaon is that it offers scholarship opportunities in every semester to the students who perform well in the final exams.

Campus Life

4

The Campus is quite large and spacious with all the facilities like WiFi-equipped classes, cafeteria, library, playgrounds, conference halls, etc, The library of the college is quite rich when it comes to books. The library has an access to more than 5000+ books and journals and the students are also provided library cards to issue the books. The classrooms also has webcam facilities as well. Extracurricular activities are conducted on regular basis to keep the students engaged and active. All the students are given equal opportunities to participate and perform in the conducted activities.

Interview Experience

4

The admission process is really simple. I was called to Hyderabad for my GD and PI session. The GS and PI session always take place at the Hyderabad campus only. The GD had total 10 students and every student was given a good amount of time to speak and share their thoughts. After my GD result was announced I was called for my PI round. The PI was taken by 2 professors and in total I was asked nearly 5-6 questions only. I recommend students to always appear in formals for the GD and PI round as correctly said First Impression is your Last Impression and it shows your professionalism and seriousness.

Placement Experience:

In the first year, there are placement opportunities for internship and in the second year, there are proper campus placements that take place, led by a student elected placement committee. Some of the top companies that extended offers for the students were Microsoft, Google, AccStrat, ITC, Mondelez, JPMC etc. The highest package offered was 5L and the average was 2.2L with 100% placements for the summer internships. I plan to work in the finance or consult sector after getting my degree.
