Remarks

The college has a very good infrastructure with the curriculum updated with all the recent developments. I appeared in the UPSEE examination and secured 4724 ranks in the general category. Thus I was left with many options for selecting the best college. The factor that attracted me the most towards this college is the location of the college provides good exposure to the students. Also, the placement records of the college are quite satisfactory. The campus is big with huge Greenery around every block. The library that is wifi enabled is considered to be the biggest library around the city. The library not only includes a very good collection of books but also includes a digital library.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing Computer Science and Engineering from this college. All the curriculum is always kept up to date. The faculty members are well educated, having a polite and kind nature and are very supportive. All the faculty members are very experienced and they are always there for any kind of help. The college is AKTU affiliated so all the exams are held in accordance with AKTU.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 133300 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The college placement is quite satisfactory. It is about 99% for the CSE/IT department with an average package of 3-4LPA. The students from the core branch need to work a little hard to get placed as per their dream. The companies that visit the campus include Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is around 1.33 LPA, and according to me, this college is valuable to money. The college students are eligible for the UP Government Scholarship, but includes some criteria for that. The college placement cell is very supportive and it tries to get the maximum number of students to get placed. The placement is around 99% for CSE/IT. The average package is around 3 LPA-4 LPA.

Campus Life

The student council of GCET in collaboration with the student council of Galgotia University conducts an annual fest for the students named, UNIFEST. This fest is considered to be the third biggest fest in and around Delhi-NCR. Apart from this the different clubs of the college conducts departmental fest for each and every department.

Interview Experience

There is no GD/PI for admission. One can just appear in the UPSEE examination and secure a good rank. After securing a good rank, one needs to sit in the U.P.T.U counselling to seek admission in the college.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More
