IBS Gurgaon is a nice college for students opting for a professional course. Industry guides and companies often visit the college making it stand out among others. College takes IBSAT, CAT, SNAP, XAT, etc. scores.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is well updated and course curriculum covers every academic aspect. Faculty is supportive and helps students to achieve and understand concepts. They are well qualified. Exams are held every semester and covers every topic.
Internships Opportunities
I had my internship in ShareKhan where the tasks were related to financial markets. many other companies visited too with stipend. the internship is part of course and comes under summer internship program.
Placement Experience
Placements are good as many companies visit. I myself got placed in the third semester end. average package is around 8-9 lakh CTC. companies like deloitte, black rock, profit idea, etc visited campus at my time.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 400500 per annum and merit scholarship is provided. Placements are good too as many companies visit campus every year. The overall cost can be self managed or financial assistance like educational loans can be taken.
Campus Life
Many clubs are there all managed by students. like social responsibility group, cyborg group, digital cell, etc. sports events and games and quizzes are a part of the course and are hosted yearly or even monthly in some cases. the college has other facilities and amenities too to help students in studying further.
Interview Experience
The GD topic I faced was regarding the "India's Ease of doing Business". One has to stay up to date on the current economic conditions and news. after that in interview mostly questions were regarding personality and knowledge base. it's easy if one displays confidence and is aware of current affairs.
