Remarks

First of all, it's a government college with a very less fee ( about 14000 for boys and Rs 32 for girls for all category ) and secondly it's placement record is very good and the college has a very big alumni network as it's a very old college. Though the infra is not the best but many things are under construction.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is well updated and the college has all the facility as required by the students. The boy is to girls ratio in my branch is 60:40. Talking about the faculty, all the teachers and professors are well qualified with a reputed IIT or big colleges but they don't pay much attention as the college is a government institution and they get their salary deposited in their account time to time without much effort. However, some teachers are very good. If you study then you will get good grades.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students get internship offer in beginning of third year and for the year 2020, many students have already got an internship. Recently 5 students got internship in a Canadian organisation. Apart from these many students get internship in big companies and even get pre placement offer.

Placement Experience

4.5

Many students get pre placement offer by the end of third year and some of them are even placed by the end of third year. BIT is a core college and most of the companies visiting the college are core companies including, TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, HONDA, YAMAHA, VEDANTA, ADANI and many more. Apart from these the IT companies visiting are, TCS, WIPRO, SIFFY TECHNOLOGIES, USHA MARTIN and many more. The highest placement was around 15lacs and considering my branch, for the year 2019, 85% students were placed.

College Events

Campus life is the best part of this college. You will begin the college with induction programme where you will be introduced with college and variety of clubs in the college. Then you will be welcomed with BITANSH, a fest and freshers party and then the college will begin.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the college has very less fee, it's affordable by everyone. However, scholarship and fee emission based on family income and caste is present in the college.

Campus Life

4.5

Though the infrastructure has all the facility including big central library, sports ground and all, it's a bit old. However, many new hostels and building are under construction. In fact the old buildings are also renovated. The new IT and CSE lab of the college is the biggest in the state. The bad point is that the infra is not clean.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Since I live close to college, I have not opted for hostels. However, the hostel life is very good. New hostel is even better and has almost all the facility including big spacious rooms, geysers in bathroom and all. Here in this college the quality of food is decent and you get different options everyday.

Hostel Fee: INR 7000 per year

Good for BCA without any tension and issues all things on time.

Likes

The college organizes great cultural events like the Navotsav fest during Durga Puja and the Roshni event for Diwali.
The faculty members are genuinely approachable, friendly by nature, and always ready to help students with their academic problems.
The campus infrastructure is quite good and provides a very decent environment for students to study and hang out.

Dislikes

The curriculum focuses a bit too much on theory; the college needs to prioritize providing more practical, industry-relevant knowledge.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

The college environment is very calm and greenery all where.

Dislikes

Very short Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement. The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students, the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus, some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus, infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

I could have gotten admitted in NIFFT Ranchi and by the 2k24 cut offs I could have gotten BIT mesra Chemical alonwith a plethora of colleges on AKTU or MPDTE counclling.I also qualifies CUET with a decent rank enough to secure a college in the DU south campus. The primary reason I chose this college was the Return on investment.Even withot any fees waiver the entire fee here is close to 4 lakhs for a span of 4 years which is very low compared to the average package of the college.Als the branch Mechanical has a decent scope in the GATE exams. First of all this college is only for the students of Jharkhand. If you wanna get admitted here and belong to the general category you need a percentile from 87 to 94.5.If you are from other categores the cutoff goes even lower. The admission process is quite simple. You fill a form which will ask you for a security deposit of 5000 on the jcece website. After this you will be eleigibke to do choice filling. You will be alloted a branch based of your rank and choice.Forgetting admission you will have to vsit the college annd submit all your documents. You can upgrade your branch in the later rounds. There are 3 rounds and 2 special rounds....Read More

ALL ABOUT BIT, THE 2nd TO NONE.

i chose this college over the other because it was convinient for me to travel to this coolege it is near my home town. not only this the college annual expense is very less as compared to different colleges. this is also a government college basically a state government college . i did not get any rejection to the colleges i applied for but this college i thought is best for me. To get admission in BIT Sindri the jee mains result is important. Based on jee mains a Jharkhand based councelling is done where students who applied must be a resident of jharkhand get a common merit list rank and based on that rank one gets admission in different colleges that comes under the jharkhand state . Note that BIT Sindri is the top ranked jharkhand goevernment college....Read More
