Remarks

Seniors are very helpful. Ragging is nil. Food is not that much good. Atmosphere is best as it is on the hills. Some first year teachers are not good but senior teachers for 2nd 3rd and 4th year students are good. Shopping complex is present in college. Most of sports are available. 4 branches in college out of which computers and IT have very good placements but entc and mechanical placements are not that much good. Highest package 39 lakh per annum by microsoft. Director and joint director of college are from army back ground (retired army officers). Parents of all students are from army and that is compulsory for students to take admission in AIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

AIT Pune comes under SPPU i.e. savitri bhai phule pune university. More than 200 colleges in pune comes under pune university. All the exam pattern are designed by SPPU and have same pattern for all colleges. We have 8 semesters and per semester there are 2 exams they are insem and end sem. Insem is of 30 marks each and end sem is of 70 marks each and 25 marks per subject is of internal assessment.

Placement Experience

4

Last year in computer science Branch 96% students got placed and this year till now only more than 80% students got placed. Highest package in college is from Microsoft and is of 39 lakh per annum. Microsoft is also the top recruiter of all the companies. Last year 5 students got placed in Microsoft. Avg package of computers is 6.9 lakh and total average is 5.3 lakhs.yes our college provide internship to some known companies like for example udchalo is a company of ravi kumar an alumni of AIT we have internship in this company.

College Events

Majorly all the festivals are celebrated in my college. Apart from that we have 3 college fests per year. First one is "pace" This is our sports fest and more than 50 colleges come and take part in it. Second one is "Amethyst" This is our cultural fest and third one is "solution" the technical fest of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees in 2019 for first year student was 271000 out of which 175000 was our tuition fees and 96000 was our hostel and mess charges. In first year we have have to deposit 20000 rs as security so in next three years we will be paying 251000 rs per annum, but from next year onwards fees of new first year students will be increasing by 20000 rs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarship programs are available. Toppers of 12th board get 10000 rs. Topper of First year get 20000 rs and second will get 10000 rs. Those students whose father is retired they all get their 100000 rs return from their fees. Udchalo scholarship is there where topper of every branch from every year will get 10000 rs. College does not provide loan facilities.

Campus Life

3.5

We have very tough competition our branch wise as their are 4 branches and we have competitions in inter branches for sports, cultural and technical. And we celebrate all festivals and do dance in ganesh chaturthi and holi. About labs I don't know that much as I m in first year only. But seniors told me that technology is good. Sports like football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, tennis, squash, badminton, TT. All the courts are well built except cricket ground. Extra activities we do like we have cycling Club we go for cycling every Sunday and pune is famous for trekking so we climb forts twice a month.

Hostel Facilities

4

If we live in hostel then mess is also compulsory for us and combined fees of hostel and mess is 96000 rs per annum. In hostel facilities we have TV in hostels, carrom board, college wifi, all sports facilities except(swimming and horse riding). For 4th year students in hostel table tennis is also present. Food quality of mess is ok but not that much good. We have meals 4 times in a day. On Friday night, sunday lunch and sunday dinner these three meals in a week are un paid means the money of these 3 meals are not cut in our mess charging and we have to pay for these three meals and in these 3 meals we have counter in our mess itself and we can eat what ever we want by paying in those counter.

Alumni/Alumna

We have very good alumni network in our college. We have Facebook group of AIT alumni group in which if any one have any problem related to any particular company than that can be solved. Alumnus are present all over the world in different countries and if anyone goes to any other country than alumni helps for staying and accommodation. Senior students are very helpful for eg. they started teaches us coding language c++ from first year onwards as officially in first year there is no subject of coding. As I m in computers so they told to start hackerrank (a coding platform). A very good trend and senior junior bond is that seniors pass all their books to their juniors as my first year is almost completed bit I got all textbooks from senior only.

Admission

Firstly we gave jee mains exam and when the result came then during the counselling time, according to our rank cutoff we have to register our name and branch and for that we have to give 10000 rs as a registration fees. If anyone don't want to take admission in this college but he have registered his name then he will not get his refund of 10000 rs but of he takes admission then that registration fees will be added in the tuition fees. After registering our name time to time all rounds of counselling happen and after all rounds merit list come of students. They take a total of 300 students in first year. This is how admission process is done.

Faculty

3

Teachers are very helpful and hard working. Whenever there are less lectures present then teachers takes extra lectures but focuses more to complete the syllabus. For first year students there are some temporary teachers because the syllabus is similar to 12th class (temporary teachers means they are hired ) but from second year onwards teachers are branch wise and all are permanent. Some times teacher are not able to explain clearly the topics then we have to learn from seniors Or online.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
