Remarks

Great placement opportunities and good faculties. Admission process was easy. Only one visit was needed to complete the admission with some advance payment. I preferred this college because it has great reputation in our country. The websites I used whole selecting college were Collegedunia and shiksha

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in it. Faculty go student ratio is around 20:1. All faculties have a Ph.D in their specific fields with a few exceptions. Two main examinations are held every semester. They are somewhat difficult to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 700000 per year

Placement Experience

Students becomes eligible for placements at the start of their 7th Semester. Companies like Delliote, Qualcomm, Cisco, BCG, Flipkart, Snapdeal etc come to hire students. Highest package in my branch was given by Qualcomm that was 25 LPA. Average package is around 6-7 LPA. 90% of the students got placed in my branch.

College Events

Annual Fest - Engifest. Tech Fest - INNOVA. Both are conducted in early February. The college library included all the book an engineering. student needs. All kinds of Sports facilities are there like Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Tennis, 8 Ball Pool, Table Tennis and more. ENGIFEST pages of Twitter, Instagram etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Cost to study is around 7 Lacs. Students are only charged what they were told in their first year regardless of any hike in the upcoming years. Students can get scholarships by studying hard and scoring one of the highest marks in the batch. There are a lot of job and internship opportunities and the CTC students get in this college is more than most of the engineering colleges in the city.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

AIIMS Delhi - The Best Medical College in India

Regarding the girls:boys ratio, it has now become good. Earlier it used to be less but now has increased. In my batch, there are 84 boys and 48 girls
The infrastructure quality and the hostel amenities are very nice. You get all the basic facilities for almost free. The campus is huge and its very good.
We get a 24/7 working library, so no worries for night owls, it is closed only on national holidays, not even on sundays.

Dislikes

Regarding academics, sometimes lectures of some professors become to boring. Here also like all MBBS colleges, we rely more on online coaching rather than college lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fine. Here they prefer to rely on standard textbooks for better knowledge. And the postings here gives you very good practice and practical knowledge. Here we get to see a lot of complex and rarer cases in the ward.

Likes

College provides a free environment for sports.
It is ragging free college and many anti ragging laws are here
One of the best features of our college is it in origanising seminar time to time.

Dislikes

There is a issue in time table uncertain classes are a problem for us
So high attendance criteria makes us in trouble.
There are not hostal facility which make a critical situation.

I chose the course because I want to become ias.approximately 100students in class . . Many proofesser are highly educated like PhD ma etc our faculty offers many opportunities.There are 6 semester in 3 years and 2 in each year .it is normal to crack the exam but hard to get High marks

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
