Remarks

Two ways of admission- 1. By direct admission. 2. By councelling. This is the best college in the area also placement records are good. K.I.E.T college i overall a house of knowledge both book knowledge ad well as practical knowledge Most importantly it is completely ragging free Institute. Worth of money. A good society. Cleanliness everywhere. Hostels are well managed . Toilets especially are very Hygienic. Cantene facilities are excellent. * Staff members are very supportive and polite.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I have chosen this because i was interested in it. faculty :student ratio is 40:50. All are well educated PHd in their respective fields. Teachers use all what they can use they use animated videos for getting everything done they use writing pads also some use green board etc. Due to covid one semester last about 3-4 months and in every month there conducts class test.(ct) total 2 ct(s) are there in one semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 136499 per year

Internships Opportunities

KIET have a vast connection over india and it offers internship over companies like DRDO many more space companies etc. Also it conducts internship in company like micromax etc. Again due to covid we are not able to take part in projects but mini projects are going on via online meetings.

Placement Experience

Still, I am a first-year student and I don't know much but the highest package of college is 27 lacs and many companies came here like Microsoft (google only for once till now) Samsung, and many more.About Internships, internships are available from the first year itself Institute has a partnership with Internshala tedx Coursera, etc. Which helps you in internships. * The overall percentage of placement is 95%.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a first-year student that's why I know only about the first year and that is 1,36,499. This includes all the things including tution fees practicals A.C. everything except university exam fees which we have to pay for every university exams. For scholarship, there are three situations 1.Neither mother nor father should have a government job. 2. Total year earning should be less than a lakh. 3. Attendance record should be >90%.

The library is very nice clean Hygenic and well maintained you will get any books you want regarding your course or anything. You can only access the library only if you have your id card issued by the college. Again due to covid no extra circular activities were encountered but clubs are awesome there are many types of clubs sports club dance club robotics poetry etc. For social networks, each and every club is available on Instagram Facebook, and youtube.

Interview Experience

This is only for direct admissions In this, the interview questions were asked from 12th standard syllabus those were the subjects- 1.Physics 2.Maths 3.English Due to covid, my test was taken online which includes objective questions...after clearing that there comes interview there they asked me questions via zoom meeting and were strict while doing so. After clearing all you will be notified and have to pay the fee using NEFT. And boom you got admission. For the preparation, I revised my 12th notes that's it.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Good Faculty : Faculty are supportive to your carrer growth they will provide guidance whenever you needed...
Campus Facilities: Infrastruture,labs everything is up to date accoding to the current need of the present.
Curriculum: Up to date industry oriented syllabus .

Dislikes

Strict Rules: rules are somewhere more stricter for college id,entering and exiting time .
Crowded classes: some classes are crowded sometimes
placement competition many students participating in the placements.

Placement Experience:

At NIET Greater Noida students becomes eligible for sitting in the placements from the 7th sem, with placement preparation starting earlier . Companies from IT sectors and others are visiting college. In my batch time the company that comes are JP Morgan & Chase , Razorpay, Juspay, TCS, Cognizant etc.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I got this college from my jee mains rank and UPTAC counselling I applied for JECRC University in which i got selected in CSE branch but I dropped it because it has so many students they admitted every student but in this college there is limited intake and seats are filled strictly on merit basis no donation is accepted just 15% seats are filled through direct admission which also involves written test and interview in college.To take admission in this insititute, you have to score good in JEE Mains exam and must have good percentage in class 12th after JEE you have to apply for UPTAC counselling.Through that you can get admission here....Read More
