REVIEW OF MANAGEMENT INTERN

IBS Hyderabad has a large campus with lush green playgrounds and is the oldest campus established in 1985. Continuing the journey with hope of nurture students in management profile in future. Shortlist procedure: 1. Based on CAT, XAT, NMAT and IBSAT. 2. IBSAT is usually held in end of December every year. 3. If shortlisted, selection process (GD, PI) starts from 3rd week of February. It is a hassle free process. Do have a clear idea on the reason to pursue management course.

I am Finance and Analytic enthusiast hence I selected this course . Management has a broad faculty in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Operations/IT. Faculty with immense knowledge and experience in their respective domain will help make learning smart. Each faculty has a doctorate degree with professional experience in management over years. The exam is highly applied knowledge and experience driven. The term exam is also enriched with project work as assignment.

Rashtriya Chemical Factory, Britannia, Tata Steel, offer real life project with stipend. Amul (FMCG), CRISIL(Credit rating agency) , Cognizant, Wipro, TCS ( Operations/IT) .Real life projects are assigned so that intern can apply technical knowledge on the live projects.

The college provide assistance in preparation for interview and group discussion. The companies from Marketing, Finance, HR and Operation/IT domain come college for placement purpose. Companies from FMCG, BFSI, Manufacturing industry visit college for placement purpose .

Fees structure is in installment of equal five. The college provide full assistance in placement. Scholarship include above 9 point CGPA and SIP internship IBSAF competition. A scholarship of Rs. 10k/- is provided to the winner of the competition.

College has a total 27 clubs listed below: 1. Manager without borders (MWB) 2. Nazaria 3. Ecobizz 4. IBS Analytics Club 5. Money Matters Club 6. Finstreet 7. HR Club Every year in January annual fest is organized by students and club. Participation of students is voluntary. Performance in fest include, drama, song, dance, various competitions and so on.

Topic of GD include current situation, decision analysis and making, abstract thinking, Govt. regulation, external affairs of India, on Economics and Finance related topic. I prepared for these rounds from a coaching institute, everyday we were given new topic to discuss in Group.
