Review of LPU

Lovely Professional University is a very renowned university and is globally famous. The fact that it provides numerous varied courses is its speciality. From advanced infrastructural facilities to guaranteed placements, LPU is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain knowledge and get practical exposures. LPU occupies a large area, which explains its beautiful campus and the other facilities, like various schools, parks, campus cafeterias, hospitals, playgrounds, indoor stadiums. Academically, LPU is performing a commendable performance in distributing knowledge, because of its effective system of education. It has wonderful teachers, well-experienced and humble. I would definitely suggest aspirants go for Lovely Professional University.

I am currently pursuing B.Com (Hons.) MBA DUAL DEGREE from Lovely Professional University. I chose this course from LPU because I wanted to gain a good knowledge of various subjects related to commerce for my carrier. I had learned previously that LPU is very good at inculcating good virtues, proper communication skills, current affairs and other activities that are required to clear an interview. Also, it's not impossible for students who had taken Science in their 11th and 12th to study commerce in college, LPU teaches from almost the very basics, obviously, a little hard work is required from the side of the student. Lastly, because LPU provides commendable placement opportunities in well-reputed companies. LPU has more than 250 programs as a part of academics which is managed by nearly 4000 faculty members. The number of students presently connected with LPU is nearly 30000 and are constantly guided by well-qualified faculty members, most have attained the qualification of PhD.

As a part of the curriculum of the 3rd year, LPU requires you to perform an internship. This year the duration of the internship asked is a minimum of 45 days. When registering for an internship, you can either select a "through LPU option" which means LPU will provide you internship by itself and it could any part of India. However, there is one more option, to go for the "self option", through which you arrange an internship on your own.

LPU is renowned for its guaranteed placements. Its academics are excellent, its co-curricular activities are also good, LPU requires you to do internships, and obviously, if you will participate in clubs then you will get to carry out certain responsibilities, thus, rendering you a good CV. LPU teaches good communication skills, dressing styles and many more, hence it is very certain that all students have the potential for getting placed in a good company. The placement with the highest package was in Microsoft with a package of Rs 42 lakhs per annum. Since, LPU provides facility of Dual Degree (which means as well, hence I have decided to complete an MBA from here itself.

Normally the fee structure of B.Com (Hons.) for all the 3 years is constant at 1.92 lakhs, and this amount includes all the hostel facilities as well. But since LPU has its entrance test, which on attempting, not only decides your admission in LPU but also what will be the fees charged as per your performance, Currently, I receive a scholarship of 12000 Rs. which is deducted from the 60000 Rs. charged every semester.

LPU has a very big campus, and it contains various facilities like gyms, indoor stadium, cafeterias and many more facilities that devote to the enjoyment and benefit of the health of the students. It also has a hospital inside its campus that continuously go on rounds for safety. LPU has libraries in its various schools, and it also has two separate blocks totally dedicated to books. The security here is very strict, but students have an enjoyable time when avoiding offensive activities on the campus. Girls are required to be in their hostels by evening in their hostels, whereas are allowed to roam around on the campus at any time. The classrooms have sufficient seats for the students, with proper amenities like lights, fans, projectors and air conditioners. Along with strong academics, LPU provides co-curricular activities like participating in clubs like economics clubs, accounts clubs, dance clubs and many more, which are run totally by students under the guidance of a faculty member.
