Remarks

The main reason for me choosing this college is the placement in this college and also facilitates like infrastructure, good food, good bus facility and good lab and other facilities. When I asked opinions from these college students, before joining this college, everyone gave a good impression over it. The mess facility is so good and they provide very good quality unlimited food. Though there is no canteen facility, it won't be a big problem, because of their good mess facility. They provide bus facility almost to all areas around Chennai and Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur and they have over 170+ buses running. The infrastructure is so good and well ventilated and high class buildings. All the laboratories are air conditioned and have all the required facilities. They also have a very big playground and gives importance to sports too. The placement is very good and students who get all clear results mostly gets the job. The only restriction is, we aren't allowed to use cell phones.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This college has good placement and teaching when it comes to the computer science and engineering department. The students to faculty ratio are really good. And there are always many staffs available. Labs are always filled with faculties and we have access to the laboratories all the time and the staffs are so good and gentle over the students and thus makes this course a good option while opting in this college. All the professors here are mostly doctorates in their respective domains and the assistant professors are at least educated to their masters. The department is divided into two parts, one for girls and another for boys, thus makes the administration effective and easier. Also, apart from the central library that's available on the campus, there is also a separate department library, available within the department building which helps students very much.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies from 1,15,000 to 1,40,000 based on the student's merit. If the student got the seat from anna University counselling, they will be charged 1,15,000 whereas if they get their seat through management, they'll have to pay an amount of 1,40,000 each year respectively. In the first year alone, Students are asked to pay an extra 10,000 rupees for miscellaneous fees. The yearly fee involves bus fee, tuition fee and also mess fees respectively. All the above mentioned fee structure is solely for day schoolers. For hostelers, an extra 60 thousand rupees will be collected for the hostel room facility and food facility. This also includes free laundry and free saloon faculties for the hostel members. Also, a hospital facility is available for hostel students within the campus respectively. When it comes to scholarships, the college provides multiple scholarships including first graduate, low income scholarships for a salary below 2lpa and also socially degraded communities.

Campus Life

4

There are no clubs in this college. Only one annual fest happens each year for the entire college which is named "college day" and college day will be conducted separately for each year students. And all the arrangements are Carried over by the college faculty themselves. Only the auditorium performances are planned and done by the students. Apart from this, there will be a farewell day for final year students, conducted grandly and a hostel day fest, which will be conducted once each year, separately for hostel students. The central library situated in the centre location of the college is so huge and has so many books. Also, there are department libraries available in each department apart from the central library for student's comfort. There will be a sports day fest conducted each year and prizes will be awarded accordingly.

Free laundry service available for everyone in the hostel. The saloon facility is also free for students. Petty shop available inside the hostel for student's comfort. The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.
