Remarks

College management is very supportive and help full in students activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Done BCA object oriented modeling and architecture and software engineering are core for research.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is given by our software development cell by doing real project for the institution it self.

Placement Experience

Almost 30 from 100 students are currently placed half of students are interested in teaching. SAP offered 45000 per month. IBS, UST Global, Wipro are major recruiting companies from my college.

We just conducted intercollegiate designing competition, resonance arts fest, programming competition, quiz competition etc.

25000rs per semester. It is comparatively low fees. Also the college provides discounts in fees structure for toppers.

2:1 between female and male most of students are females parties are work for students welfare so there is no strikes by the parties. Conducted seminar for transgenders. College have a nature diversity this college is nature friendly established in 1921 this college have experienced list of professors.

They are very helpful help in doing projects, gives chance of placements.

A semester consists 4 months. In this duration college conduct 2 internal assessments test also to lab exam.

About my college

Likes

The teachers are very kind...well educated
The atmosphere in the campus is great...
The canteen menus are all fine and are according to our need

Dislikes

Some of the teachers are not that good..
The building is to old for us it's like it's almost going to fall or smt
The toilets are all old and not maintained

Less subjects compared to other course Im interested in IT field that's why I took mca It really prepares me for the real world application After one month prolly there will be internal and soon after that semester exam will be conducted

College at the heart of kuttanad

Likes

Academic structure is pretty good. Exams will be conducted earlier and the results will also be published at the earliest.
Value of the university is pretty good. Placement options are also comparatively better.
Classes are arranged daily and the teachers are always available there with all support

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not that good. It's just average
The campus itself is said to be in a very rural area and so there a some drawbacks. Reaching the city area is a lil bit time consuming.
Internship option is not provided. Only project submission is allowed. But main campus (CUSAT) allows both the options.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good. Well reputed companies are offering Placement options. Cusat is providing a personal email to it's students and this even help us while applying for jobs and Placements. After covid pandamic placements become comparatively lower than before.

Nirmala College Muvattupuzha - A Good Campus

Likes

I liked that the college has a large campus situated on top of a hill with trees on both sides of the 500m long paved entrance. The college is nature friendly.
The college is a well known college in the district with 17 Undergraduate and 14 Postgraduate programs. The college has NAAC accreditation with a high CGPA score of 3.73, one of the highest in the state of Kerala.
The atmosphere is vibrant and friendly with a good balance in academics and extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

The college doesn't really encourage students in sports.
The college has a students union, but they are pretty much useless.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed MCA at Nirmala College due to several reasons: • It is a course which is open to anyone who has passed any bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% and above. The only prerequisite is that one need to attend the annual LBS MCA entrance examination to secure admission to this course. • The syllabus of MCA in this college is affiliated with that of MG University, Kottayam. It is a vast syllabus covering various applications of computer science including programming in various languages such as C, Java, PHP, Python, data structures, algorithms, statistics, data mining, machine learning, software engineering, networking, etc. • The course is theoretically good but practically it doesn't really equip all students with enough knowledge and understanding to be placed in a good IT company. Some portions could be excluded from various theory subjects such as Networking with TCp/Ip and Algorithms Analysis.

The Beginners college

Placement Experience:

As all other Professional colleges, they are offering placement support to get students placed in the top companies around Kerala. If a student is appearing 3rd sem or 4th sem they will automatically be considered for a placement chance. The top companies which recruit from this college are Technopark and TCS.therevare approximately 50 placements are currently made. Even they recruit people the salaries are low for a fresher, as they're below 25000 rupees. Currently, I am thinking about looking for a job in foreign countries after getting my degree completed.

One of the bad remark is college is situated in a remote location. Public transport not covering the campus. Even though campus provide transportation facilities from nearby cities.

If you want to learn more and more you can go there and took admission and they also conducts other events so that you can learn more about other things.Some negatives points which I can point out there are like 1--The syllabus is more theoretical then practical ones. 2-- Ans female faculty is little bit not up to work

I take admission in the year 2022 through mgu cap. Our college is aided so, comparatively less fees than other self financing colleges.
