Remarks
One of the best thing about MDU is its infrastructure within one gate you will find everything and the bad thing for me was that it was quite far away from my home(a total of 4 hours for up and down from my place), and they don't conduct any extracurricular activities for students. For admission you will have to fill the admission form which you can do online on their website, once the form is filled then you will have to give one entrance exam, and then within a month, you will get your entrance exam results then as per your ranks you will be asked to come for the counseling with your all documents for the admission. Admission forms mostly release in the month of April-May. I chose this university because one of my elder cousin, who had done the same course from it and my friend also suggested me this university.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I was interested in the constitution of our laws, I wanted to know about Indian laws and regulations, so it was the best option for me. If we had any problems related to our academics or subject we can reach them and they did help as much as they can. Most faculty were PhDs or net qualified but their teaching method is old school type they should have used held moot court, etc. Our exams were conducted on time twice a year consisting of internal, Viva, and external. Exams were difficult if you didn't study.
Placement Experience
For LLB students there was no campus placement in MDU. Students have to find their own jobs internships on their own. Zero company visited. After my LLB degree, I took the AIBE exam and cleared it, and now I'm assisting senior associates in court cases. And planning to do my master's along with it if possible.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fee for BBA 3 year course was 65000 rupees per year so it was around 200000 in total for three years. Books, projects, assignments,s, etc were around 12000 rupees. I don't know about the scholarship but backward class students can get reimbursement or compensation in their yearly fee, one of my friends got her three years fees reimbursed and there are no jobs for students on campus with or without stipend.
Campus Life
MDU never held any annual or tech fest so there are no fests. The library is ok, you will find enough books to complete your assignment. There is no sports facility or extracurricular activities available on the campus, only fresher and farewell parties happen.
