Likes
- The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
- The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
- Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.
Dislikes
- In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum after 3 rd semester is very relevant for the industrial point of view. The frequency of exams is within 1.5 months . The college also provides with the facilities to work in a project under a faculty and gain hands on experience about a particular field.
Internships Opportunities
The companies which often visit the college are JO Morgan , microsoft, De show and many banks and private firms which offer the role as of software engineer or junior engineer. They offer stipend of about 30k to 80k depending on the role and the company.
Placement Experience
The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise tution fees is nearly 1,10,000 for 2 semester and hostel fees is 68,000 per year. However there is concession of about 60% in tution fee for SC and ST students and Moreover scholarship is also provided to needy students. Branch openers are provided with a bicycle and further branch topper s are also given cash prize of 5000 for every semester. Library fee, gym fee s and all this type of extra fee is included in tution fee itself and hostel room fee is also included in tution fee only. The hostel fees mentioned above is only for mess and other facilities used by the students belonging to hostel.
Campus Life
The college life is very cheerful and filled with positive energy. Annually 2 main fest happen one cultural and one technical. The sports facilities os very good offering sports like football, tennis , badminton, cricket. Volley ball, weight lifting , basket ball and also gym is provided.There are several clubs and societies which help the students to grow socially.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room has one bed. One study table and one almirah . The food provided in the mess is of decent quality and there is ample variety in food provided in mess . Registration process for the hostel is done on the very same day of physical reporting.
Admission
This college is in tier 1 nits and also it has given many great alumni which are one of the main reasons to go for this college . The college applied by me were NIT jaipur and NIT Rourkela but as it was near to my home so I went for this only .In order to get admission in this college one has to sit in jossaa counselling and after seat allocation physical reporting is done and then you can join the hostel and work to build a better tomorrow
Faculty
The faculty of this college is very knowledgeable and cooperative. They are able to clear nearly all the doubts of the students. They are of very helpful nature. There are 2 mid sem exams and 1 end sem exam . The difficulty level of the exam is above moderate level and nearly 2% students fail to clear the exams.
Night Life
The college life is not much charming but is very peaceful .It is totally safe to roam around at night as guards are provided everywhere. For boys there are no inn timings but for girls it is 8:30pm. Library is open 24*7 .
