Review of an Alumni

I applied through CMAT score, thereby got shortlisted for the GD/PI round and finally got selected for a2 year regular MBA programme. I haven't applied through any quota. The admission criteria are 60% above in graduations. The interviews are taken in 2 slots mainly.

I wanted to join the corporate sector mainly to explore the HR Domain and learn specific skills. The faculty is very good each of them is industry experts and has a good teaching style. They use quite updated teaching methods and try to reach out to students in need.

Many companies tie up with the college to offer internship opportunities with a good amount of stipend. Eg is Varun beverages, HDFC AMC, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Reliance footprints, Automovill Pvt Ltd, Career Curators etc.

The students get eligible for placement from the 2nd year. It is one of the oldest and reputed institute of NE India, It has given many scholars and great personalities to the society. Companies such as Asian Paints, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities, Axis Bank, SBI Life and HDFC AMC, Marico etc are the regular recruiters however it is mostly known for its Banking and Insurance placements for the last few years. The highest package ranges from 7-8 and the average package ranges from 3-3.5.

The fee structure is quite high as compared to the other colleges in the city. A no of scholarships are available to the students, Loan facility is also available for the students. Due to the pandemic in 2020, we got internships through the colleges but a stipend was not provided.

The Institute has its own cultural fest but for the last few years, it's not happening. Other functions such as Freshmen social, Saraswati Puja, Independence day, AIM Foundation day, Teachers day all are celebrated. It also conducts seminars and invites guests from different fields.

Students are divided into groups for GD and are expected to discuss various knowledgeable topics. Once the GD gets over the students who perform well are called for the next round which is the PI round. Here the candidates are questioned on their previous study background and other related topics their personality is judged.
