Remarks
One of the best college Delhi has to offer if you want to become an engineer. This college will teach you so many more than you thought it would. Admission usually begins after results of JEE Advance are declared. It'll take about 2 months to finish the process. The process ends by last week of July.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is well designed and teachers are usually very open and friendly. Apart from course work you can always approach them for guidance on topics/projects beyond the scope of the syllabus. Student faculty ratio is around 20:1.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers good opportunities for the Computer Science department in terms of internship. However on-campus internships for other core branches are very rare. However you do get an internship easily off campus. Not much of a problem.
Placement Experience
College placements are very comprehensive. If the student has decent academic record, he/she can easily score an offer from a good company. Almost everyone with a GPA of 8 and higher got placed as per my understanding. Placement rates is around 70% for GPA 6-7.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure has changed over the last 5 to 6 years. Annual fee is close to 2 lakh now. Still much better than private colleges. There are several scholarship offered to branch toppers and students from the deserving classes.
Campus Life
Social life on Campus is amazing. You'll have dozens of clubs/societies to choose from. Although it's not that easy. All clubs have their own screening process. There is a healthy competition between these clubs and you spend more time with your club then you do in classes.
Admission
Placement usually have 3 rounds. First one is written test. Usually aptitude test or maths aptitude. The next round is usually a GD. And 3rd round may consist of multiple rounds of interviews. The process usually takes up the whole day.
