Remarks

This University is highly appreciated and reputed in India as well as in top Engineering College in Delhi Capital. Also it has amazing culture and gives a huge platform to grow in extra curricular activities for students as well.I got councelling letter on the basis of my AIEEE exam rank and hence got selected. Then I had to fill a admission form online and then went to the campus for physical registration which took a day. Official DTU website and DTU times, a college magazine is where you can find in and out of the college's news, updates and it's substance.

DTU is undoubtedly one of the premium and reputed University in India. It's a perk if you a Delhiite. Earlier it was called Delhi College of engineering (DCE) later got converted into autonomous University names Delhi Technological University (DTU). Teaching method is based on class soon teaching and practical lab which is the best method learn theory and practicality of technology. Faculties are highly qualified and knowledgeable as all are experienced and have qualified to become eligible to teach in the university via proper selection process.

Placement Experience

Placement process is handled by Training and placement department of university. Process is very transparent. Each company start with their company presentation and then the rounds of selection process starts. Some company keep cut-off criteria to apply i.e. 60% or 65%Then takes 2-3 further rounds (aptitude test, Guess Estimated or problem solving round then PI/HR round) vary company to company. 60%- 70% students get placed via campus selection in reputed companies. Average package- 56lacs -14lacs

Campus Life

It a has a beautiful campus which includes hostels (girls and boys seprate), mess, canteens, auditoriums, sports complex and amphitheatre and a lot of greenry and trees inside the campus.4 years of degree has 8 semesters and two exams each semester - mid term and final term ( including written and practical exams) Culture is chilled out and happening as compared to any other professional colleges. They also have amazing annual fest where students from all over India visit campus and participate in competitions and activities.

Admission

Yes, earlier via AIEEE enterance exam now via JEE mains followed by joint councelling. Hence, you need to give an entrance exam. If you belong from India, JEE MAINS is that exam and if outside India, SAT is the exam.Then you need to check your rank and wait for the cutoff lists to be released by the JAC Delhi.Delhi Technological University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the various streams such as Technology, Design, Management and much more. The courses are offered under 15 different departments namely Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Humanities, Information Technology and many more.Admission procedure at DTU-Firstly you have to give jee mains paper-1 exam and In this exam your score should be enough for dtu.After jee mains result you have to register your account in JAC Delhi (joint admission council)For registration in JAC you will may a amount of 1500/-In JAC Delhi perform admission process for four college these are DTU, NSUT igdtu, iiit- Delhi. After registration you will fill you all details in JAC and then you will fill a choice filling form in which you will fill 27 choice. Get registered yourself on JAC site with all the necessary information required to be filled up by you. Fill in your course choices with the preference order when asked on site and as soon as your rank meets your desired course, then get the allotment letter and wait for your counselling. In between you need to submit the fees as mentiones by DTU.

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
